One of the reasons I purchased this item for the battery life. The specs state the battery life is 7.5 hours. If Im lucky the battery in the one I purchased last 2.5 hours. That being said, it spends more time plugged in than not. One

I bought this product for budget reasons HOWEVER you’re best off saving your money for something a little more expensive and better quality. When I first received the laptop, setting it up I noticed the top right corner of the touchpad was lifted. I could press it back down, but it sounded like it was only being held by some cheap glue. On top of that it seemed every unresponsive and you had to either press the trackpad in a certain spot or press it multiple times and hoped it worked. Secondly the screen quality was actually terrible. I thought based on others reviews they were exaggerating, but no. Lastly, the laptop froze multiple times (JUST OUT OF THE BOX!) I had to reset it about 3-4 times. This occurred while I was only on google and watching YouTube. I never intended on gaming on this, but as you can see if it can’t even handle google.. good luck. If you want something gaming you can either build a pretty nice PC around $900 or get a better laptop for around $500-$600. That said, do yourself a favor and avoid this purchase

Screen didnt work

I bought my FIRST ACER for my grandson for school (Sept 2019). In April 2020 just 7 months later, we found out the speaker doesnt work. We were doing zoom on it and the sound didnt work. It probably wasnt working to begin with. I should have contacted ACER at that time but since the sound didnt work ONLY on conference calls it didnt bother us that much. So I bought a second one for his brother also for school online in May 2020. Same problem ,we needed to use ZOOM for Dr. Appt. ONLINE. Sound wasnt good so we called using our PHONE for the sound and used the laptop camera and then muted the sound on the computer. On the first Acer the screen went out completely(the filament) just 2 days after the 1 yr. warranty. So be prepared to WASTE $385 ,as ours only lasted a year!!! I wouldnt have bought the second one if the screen had gone out a couple of months sooner.

For the price, this is an incredible laptop. Very impressed with the speed.

My Mac book pro broke so I needed a cheap computer for school. Love the setup and everything on the computer. Overall very happy with this computer.

This laptop gives u solid performance for your buck backlit keys are a must.

This is a really cheap computer. I have only had it for a couple of months and already it is showing signs of breaking. The web camera was broken from the very start, some keys are sticky, the trackpad moves the mouse randomly, the power cable doesnt fit into the charging port securely, and the headphone jack doesnt work. Dont waste your money.

I love my little laptop! I have a little trouble with the keyboard skipping but I think its the operator.
