I was skeptical due to the price but decided to take a chance. I have purchased other cheap laptops that have such a slow processing speed they are near worthless. This is a good computer and very fast. I purchased an 8GB ram upgrade but haven’t even installed it and really don’t need it. I am using the computer for general internet surfing as well as work purposes with VPN. It is handling it all very well. I was worried about the processing speed with the VPN but it is no issue. Highly recommend!

Oh MY. Had it less than six months. Corner cracked and screen stopped. Made a warranty claim and even though the label on the bottom of the lap top is stamped less than a year old, I STILL am asked to show proof of purchase. If I do not, then I can pay for freight to/from and the repair. SOMEONE PLEASE TELL ME HOW THIS IS QUALITY AND CUSTOMWR SERVICE?! NEVER AGAIN!!!

Laptop was working great until I had it for a year. Now the laptop doesnt turn on, and there is an issue with the battery or motherboard.

If you’re on a low budget, this is the laptop to get. It works well as a well-rounded computer and I honestly like it more than some of the more expensive laptops.

In all fairness, I cannot give much of a review. I followed the instructions and plugged in the computer. The screen stayed black. I called the tech support number in the box. I was instructed to turn the computer off, then turn it on again. It still stayed black. I was advised since it was brand new to return it. I open the laptop all the way at 180 degrees and the screen would come on if I kept tapping it. It was a short in the computer. This is the second Acer product that I have purchased and have had to return because it would not operate when it was brand new.

it seems acer always rips me off when it comes to damned decent speakers that last a long time.. ive had this thing a year one speaker dont work other cracks... if you want something with decent sound pass

I had high hopes for this machine as a first machine for my kid. It has been nothing but a PITA. I upgraded the ram to max, which wasnt expensive, the graphics quality could be better for games. Had it only a month and its already having heating issues when gaming on low end games like Roblox. Dont waste your money.

Muy bonita la computadora, funciona excelente. Le compre una memoria RAM adicional pero igual funciona excelente.
