Slim and lightweight, fast, crisp HD display.

It does everything you want a cheap laptop to do. Booting up is very fast (about 7 seconds), the CPU is fast enough and I have not had any browsing issues and have many tabs open with no reduction in speed. The screen quality overall is good and it has good battery life for general use. My only issue is the audio, the audio speaker is located under the laptop, which is not ideal. Instead of the audio feeding outward in my direction, it is going straight into the ground or wherever the laptop is sitting, which makes it harder to hear.

Pc did not work and was not able to use even after reinstalling windows and working though trouble shooting. Plus side is quick and easy return

I truly like it! One problem is trying to open it!

I have had the Acer Aspire 5 for about a week now. I am a teacher and sharing a laptop for work and for my photography hobby was not working out. So far I am very pleased with this purchase with a few cons.

The laptop came very quickly.

Nice laptop, study enough, decent screen resolution and can viewed at wide angles. With the SSD its a peppy little computer.

I bought this and the manual says it has a SD drive on the left side. It does NOT. I called Amazon about it, and they offered me a very nominal credit or to return it. If you plan to use SD disks, youll need an adapter, and that adapter will take up a USB port so its not an insignificant issue. The pictures are accurate.

Although this is a brand new computer and only a few months old, it only works if plugged in. In fact, the computer always shows a no battery present message. This is a known problem. I followed all advice to fix this problem to no avail. Now in the middle of this pandemic when all kids are distance learning, Acer expects me to mail it into them for repair.

Nice laptop and good features backlit keyboard. Battery life is decent
