I bought this laptop to use for when I need to do work away from my Desktop. While it is not as powerful as my desktop; I am impressed with the laptop for the price. The battery life is amazing compared to previous laptops that Ive had. I watched youtube and did some internet browsing for about 8 hours and still had plenty of battery life left. Running Visual Studio or Android Studio did cut the battery life, but still lasts for quite a while.

So, this computer is great. Then I wanted to upgrade it and found inside the one chip was installed incorrectly breaking a small connector and made it impossible for an additional drive. Then as you can see from the picture, there is clearly only one ram slot when all the literature as well as the computer settings say there are two slots. So I ordered the wrong DD4r memory. Lucky I didnt really need to upgrade it and also lucky I could send back the SSD and the Ram to amazon for free. Wish it was still under warranty, so I could get that connector fixed.

I bought this laptop and it just keep keep discontent the WiFi by itself, i have really use that much because of time, but the few times it just disconnects from the WiFi of my house, and it’s a super fast WiFi that covers the whole house, think and better returning its this keep happening

I compared laptops for several weeks before buying. This machine had all I wanted and nothing I didnt need. Ive been using it for several months now without a single problem or complaint. The case is sleek and sturdy. The keyboard is quiet and responsive. The touchpad took some getting used to, but thats always the case with a new laptop. The battery life is INSANELY good -- I can go for days without plugging in under casual use. The boot-up is super-fast, as expected. Processing has never bogged down. I use this machine for Internet, document creation, regular office stuff. I do not use it for gaming, as it is not intended for gaming. The value for the price is just unheard of these days.

Love the fast startup speed with the solid state drive and this laptop has a quality HD video screen. I use it to stream videos and it does a great job. Am very happy with it, at a nice price for what it offers. Is not a touch screen, but past laptops (other brands) Ive had with touch screens have failed to work after a few months, so I dont miss that extra cost feature.

I am loving this Acer. Works great for my use, which is general at home ; email, surfing, light gaming

Great value. Does everything I need and I do a lot of computationally heavy work. Lightweight, sleek design! Plenty of USB ports. Great size screen.

upon setup of the laptop a virus surfaced. Virus came with setup. Acer was no help. Think twice before making this purchase

After three months of owning this laptop the WiFi stopped working. Acer support could not fix it. So now I have to send it to Texas to be repaired. Although they gave me a postage label I still have to pay for the packaging to ship the laptop. This is an instance where a box store would have been better. All I would need to do is drive it the store for repair or have it exchanged for a new one, simple. Texas is the only place to get the laptop repaired ifpurchased from Amazon and Acer. Very disappointed. Ordering is easy, repairing not so much!
