For business applications, we have been impressed with the Acer Aspire 5 Slim Laptop. Over several months of use, this laptop has performed well and has not suffered from any problems. The construction seems solid enough, and it would really be a challenge to do better in this price range.

I wanted to wait at least until my midterms came before I decide to review this laptop. I am a computer engineering major taking final computer science courses and I am absolutely loving working on this laptop. The keyboard is great and good enough for coding long hours. However, the ONLY complaint I have is that the arrow keys are not to my liking. The up and down arrow keys are too small. Oh, and also there are no home and end keys as well. But overall, its a great laptop for the price range.

So, computer stopped working and i filed a claim under warranty. by chat it was real easy. they promised to send media to reboot. they did not. i tried to call and get status but as warranty period had by then passed the system will not let you talk to anyone. i cannot say if it could be more stupid or more frustrating. there is a reason they are cheaper i guess

Compré este producto debido a su excelente relación calidad-precio, pero esta clase de defectos inexplicables son sumamente molestos para los clientes. Ahora tendré que esperar más días para poder tener mi computadora, pues hasta hice la devolución.

Good laptop just cant be used for too much.

solo tengo un probelma on este portatil, y es que amo los portatiles acer.

First thing to note is that this laptop does not have a touch screen. I mistakenly thought it did based on the product description and was a bit surprised when it arrived. However, this wasnt a big deal for me, because I dont really see the point of a touch screen on laptops.

Compared to my old laptop the Acer is very fast. Meets my expectations with the intended use 100 %.

This computer can not hold a charge. Had this computer for two years already have to replace it. Not only can it not hold a charge the charger will not stay connected. Ive replaced the charger and thats not the problem.

Its a Very Lightweight Laptop. I am very satisfied to use it. I recommend everyone to purchase it.
