Very loud fan. Annoying!!! Also the charging port went bad after just about 2 month of purchase. Fortunately Amazon took it back from me for refund!!!

Its a good laptop. It plays Movies and Videos on High Quility for sure and you cant beat the anti-glare. When it comes to video games, its not too bad. Its good, dont get me wrong but I am looking for an upgrade. It will run graphics on Ultra or on High but it will become very glitchy. Maybe Medium but thats pushing it ( For RS3 users).

After three months of owning this laptop the WiFi stopped working. Acer support could not fix it. So now I have to send it to Texas to be repaired. Although they gave me a postage label I still have to pay for the packaging to ship the laptop. This is an instance where a box store would have been better. All I would need to do is drive it the store for repair or have it exchanged for a new one, simple. Texas is the only place to get the laptop repaired ifpurchased from Amazon and Acer. Very disappointed. Ordering is easy, repairing not so much!

I have owned many different laptops, including high-end gaming laptops, and I have to say this laptop is a gem. For anyone looking for something to bring to Starbucks to work on, or to class to take notes, this laptop meets and exceeds what youd expect for the price. I can easily multi-task with it, no problem whatsoever. I do a bit of programming, writing papers, and even reading E-books with it. This thing isnt going to be great for playing graphics-intensive games or image-rendering, thus I gave it no rating for gaming.

I havent had an actual computer in years but this machine is definitely a computer!

I have multiple desktops as I code from home. Some very high end, some low end. Im currently moving and needed a laptop for motels/hotels that could allow me to work easily but not spend a lot for something Ill likely wind up giving to my kids after Im done.

The laptop is fast. The screen is great. The fingerprint reader works well. The only problem I couldn’t live with was how hot the computer runs. I actually like to put laptops on my lap when I use them, but because of the heat and the fan location (bottom of unit) it is just too uncomfortable. If you don’t mind the fan noise and plan on using it on a table top, it would probably be a good laptop for you.

Brought September 2019, battery critical error and then laptop turned off and would not turn on. Waited over 30mins for customer service, hung up and rang again, still no resolution. Needless to say I will be returning laptop. 7 months light usage and then this is unacceptable. Laptop is under manufacturer warranty and I brought additional extended warranty.

This is my sons computer. He is a student and likes it well enough, but he bent the little prong on the charger that came with it and its been nearly impossible to find a decent replacement. Its turned into one of those quality of life issues that makes you want to cut your losses and buy a new computer. Acer does not sell one on their website. If you google the make/model, you find some kind of sketchy sellers you might not want to trust. There are some for sale on e Bay that fit, but not quite right, so that the battery warning (which you cant turn off) will beep constantly if you move it while its plugged up. Caveat Emptor!! PS if you have your heart set on this computer (September 2020), wait. I paid half of its current price ($695) last December. This is definitely not worth what theyre asking for it now.

Bought this for my mom while she is on bed rest so she could simply play on Facebook. The computer came with issues. Had to call after unboxing due to it just having a white screen. For a solid month it kicked us out of programs and would restart computer whenever it wanted. Now on 2nd month it started to smell like electrical burning and after a week it just wont even turn on now. My mom is devastated and I dont have the money to buy another. Amazon wont let me return it since its been 8 weeks. Please dont buy this.
