> 3 dayThe image and build quality are quite nice on this monitor, but I noticed initially the brightness was very low, even at 100%. For whatever reason, after a few days the monitor seemed to warm up and the brightness came to an acceptable level. From about a week onward the monitor has been plenty bright even at 60%. If you notice the brightness is not very high, try giving it a few days to see if it improves.

Greater than one weekWe just got a computer that needed a HDMI monitor, which we didnt have. My youngest son (13) has been telling me that he wants to build a computer, but has not happened yet. We got the computer for school, and a bit of gaming. This monitor is really big, 27 inches. Larger than the TV I have in my bedroom. It has lots of connections on the back of it, for different inputs and outputs. The stand allows you to raise and lower the monitor and turn it with very little effort. My son tells me it has a 140 refresh rate, which was important to him. I know that it was easy to hook up, is bright, crisp and looks like it is built to last.

Greater than one weekIf your going through reviews trying to decide whether to buy or not to buy. BUY IT! For the price this can not be beat. Not the strongest build quality but aside from that this is excellent value and perfect for office/gaming usage. Plus, this does not cause me any eye strain what so ever which is a huge bonus for me! Seriously, stop reading the negative reviews and buy this monitor. I spent so much time reading reviews, rtings, and reddit just to find a damn monitor that wouldnt cause eye issues and Im glad I went with this one because it is one of the few monitors Ive ever owned that causes zero eye strain. Beautiful picture and refresh rate as well.

> 3 dayTLDR: Ive only had it for 14hrs at the time of this review Doesnt come with a DP cable only HDMI. Color is Hazy but the quality and pixel performance is great The whites dont pop out as much so its harder to see dark spots than a non-budget 1440p or 1080p Its still really good and games look great (I play League of Legends, CoD Modern Warfare, Overwatch, Valorant, Risk of Rain 2) The stand is great. You can tip it up and down, lift it pretty high and make it entirely vertical (no tools needed). This monitor is perfect for a budget 1440p 144hz monitor. Its about $100 cheaper than buying a high quality monitor. The only thing that differs from a hq monitor and this one is the color is a hazy. The dark spots dont pop out as much as they do on my 144hz 1080p monitor because the white isnt completely white its literally hazel colored (like Rihannas skin). Like when you put your phone in night mode to eliminate the blue light to protect your eyes. You can change the settings on the back of your monitor to make it look better but at the end of the day it still doesnt look bad. In the long run itll protect your eyes and its definitely an upgrade from my 1080p monitor. The stand is great too. You can tip it up and down, lift it pretty high and make it entirely vertical (no tools needed).

> 3 dayG-SYNC- A lot of reviews on here are conflicting I am running on a gtx 1080 ftw when I received it came with a HDMI which limits it plus the G-Sync was not showing up. I ordered a DP cable what is better for pc monitors and after the switch the option to Set up G-SYNC has shown up now in the Nvidia control panel to enable it on this monitor Monitor- Came with no dead pixels setup was really easy simple connect with a twist screw at the base of the stand. The screen first boot was dim and dark can easily go into the settings and adjust to make it perfect for my desk and room lighting so not a problem after some tweaking played a few games and seems dark like the gamma is low I currently gave the HDR on so it wont let me adjust it on the monitor but probably little more tweaking and it will be fine after but doesnt bother me much. Final- Dont have really any cons for me but I have only just got this monitor and its my first 1440p 144hz monitor so I have not experienced others to compare just thought I would clear up the G-Sync issue and give my thoughts.

Greater than one weekI researched a lot about which was a quality 1440p 144hz IPS monitor to buy. Turns out, most of them are really good! When I narrowed it down, it was between the LG 27GL850 or the Acer XV272U. The LG monitor was out of stock everywhere so I ended up with this one and Im very glad I did. I bought this to game with a 2080 ti and PS4 Pro. I havent received the 2080 ti yet, when I do I will update the review. On the PS4 Pro, I am very impressed. I normally game on a 55 4K Samsung KS8000, an amazing HDR TV to compare the monitor to. The PS4P detects the Acer Nitro XV2 and sets the resolution at 4K. There is a Super Sharpness enabled by default, testing it on and off on multiple PS4P games there is a big difference on same and no difference on some. Going through all the different color modes, I was freaking out at how an IPS panel could be so washed out like a TN panel...until I enabled HDR. Maybe Im used to gaming on the HDR TV so much or this monitor is terrible without HDR enabled...Im not sure until I test it on the PC soon. But with HDR enabled, my eyes were overwhelmed with how amazing the colors are. With HDR enabled, this monitors maximum brightness is really bright like my eyes were starting to hurt and strain so I probably damaged my retinas a little bit inspecting for BLB and dead pixels...which I received a monitor with no BLB or dead pixels! So far Im really happy with my monitor for the PS4 Pro, so I hope the experience is the same on PC when I received my GPU in a few days.

> 3 dayI ordered two of these monitors close to a month ago. Upon opening the box I noticed that the two monitors were slightly different but also identical. The only difference was that one of the monitors came with a power switch on the back and one did not. After a week or so of use I noticed the montior Without the power switch was significantly dimmer even though they had the same settings. I exchanged my dim monitor with Amazon and got a new one with a switch on the back that was just as bright as my other one. Kind of a pain in the butt process but am very happy with the overall functionality and picture quality of these monitors. Just make sure that if you order and it’s seems a bit too dim, make sure you got the correct model!
