> 3 dayG-SYNC- A lot of reviews on here are conflicting I am running on a gtx 1080 ftw when I received it came with a HDMI which limits it plus the G-Sync was not showing up. I ordered a DP cable what is better for pc monitors and after the switch the option to Set up G-SYNC has shown up now in the Nvidia control panel to enable it on this monitor Monitor- Came with no dead pixels setup was really easy simple connect with a twist screw at the base of the stand. The screen first boot was dim and dark can easily go into the settings and adjust to make it perfect for my desk and room lighting so not a problem after some tweaking played a few games and seems dark like the gamma is low I currently gave the HDR on so it wont let me adjust it on the monitor but probably little more tweaking and it will be fine after but doesnt bother me much. Final- Dont have really any cons for me but I have only just got this monitor and its my first 1440p 144hz monitor so I have not experienced others to compare just thought I would clear up the G-Sync issue and give my thoughts.

> 3 dayThis is an excellent LCD HDR monitor. I have never used HDR but have previously used 144hz 2k monitors (Acer XG270HU for reference). My other Acer 2k monitor uses a TN panel, which has poor viewing angles and color reproduction, but this one produces excellent colors after I changed the color bit depth to 10bpc and configured the monitor colors. I only have a couple of games which support HDR but one I tried (Red Dead Redemption 2) looks amazing, though it was somewhat difficult to get working correctly. Pros: VESA compatible Extremely bright Excellent Wide Color Gamut reproduction Height Adjustable (I remember reading a couple of reviews saying it had no height adjustment, but it does) 144Hz QHD 27 is the perfect combination of resolution, refresh rate, and pixel size Cons: Was a little difficult to set up HDR in windows and be sure everything was working correctly.

> 3 dayRecently I bought a new gaming PC, that included an MSi Gaming Trio RTX 3080, but being bottlenecked by my 60hz 1080p monitor, I might as well have been plaing on a GTX 1080. Wanting to push more of the limits of my new GPU, I purchased this monitor. Going from 60hz 1080p gaming to 144hz 1440p gaming is a large jump. The smoothness is unparralled by any monitor Ive seen, and it is dramatically noticeable when changing the settings back to 60hz. There is clearly a lot more detail at 1440p as well. The games look that much more realistic and look way more beautiful. Definitely a good addition to any person who enjoys gamings tech collection. The colors look better than my last monitor also. I think there could be more color callibration features, but thats something Ill work out and maybe update my review upon figuring out. But so far, the brightness and color looks fine great, being an IPS monitor with HDR. Although you supposedly cant get overdrive and HDR at the same time, the display has very accurate colors regardless. The overdrive is already preconfigured, but most monitors benefit most from the normal setting for overdrive, in order to get that response-time down and decrease motion blur for a true 144fps experience. I dont notice much motion blur, everything looks smooth as butter to me, but this is also my first time viewing a 144hz monitor. But regardless, its a giant leap from 60hz 1080p in terms of image quality and video smoothness, and Im happy with this purchase, and will now get to experience better what my PC is capable of.

> 3 dayI recently purchased two each of the following 27 inch 1440P IPS monitors to use in a 4 monitor array where I already owned two Acer K272HUL Dbmidpx L 27 IPS monitors. Ranked from favorite to least favorite below: 1) Acer Nitro XV272U Pbmiiprzx 27 WQHD - these are my new favorite 1440p monitors due to the fact that they seem to deliver the best image quality out of all of the monitors that I have tested. I use these for productivity and am not really a gamer. Great text readability, minimal back light bleed, nice sleek design, decent glare reduction without making images blurry (see notes on the Dell unit below). Great controls and menu except a little inconvenient if you have these mounted side by side as the controls are on the right rear of the monitors so might be difficult to access on the left monitor due to placement. Youll need to physically move the monitor to access the controls. Not a big deal to me though. 2) Asus ProArt Display PA278QV - these were my second favorite but I just simply preferred the image quality from the Acer Nitro XV272U a little better. I dont love the measuring lines on the front of the display but suspect they may be useful for video/photo editors? I also think the menu system and buttons can be improved a little. Overall, a nice monitor but didnt quite cut it for me. 3) Acer Nitro VG270U BMIIPX - great image quality and similar image quality like the other Acers listed above, but the fatal flaw with these is they caused my computer to slow to a crawl whenever my PC would wake from sleep. I contacted Acer support and they believe it to be an issue with the firmware thats installed on the monitors. Returned them. 4) Dell U2719D - really nice sleek design with a great menu system controls and input options but the anti glare coating was too aggressive for my liking and the image quality was just meh to me when compared to the two Acers listed above. Hope this helps someone searching for monitors :)

> 3 dayGreat picture with very little if any shadowing. Built in crosshairs is nice for shooting games. Seems to be no lag on max setting. Would recommend for gaming.

Greater than one weekEasily on par with (and possibly exceeds?) the performance of my LG Ultragear. And zero bugs/glitches/RMA issues to address with a less-than-helpful support team. These guys are getting my money from now on.

> 3 dayIn all my years, i have never used an IPS Panel before. My last monitor of 8 years was a Dell ST2421L TN Panel and i was quite happy with its performance (i used it for everything included photo and video editing). The moment I plugged this Acer on and Windows booted, i was completely blown away. Compared to all my previous TN Panels, this was bright and colours were vivid. Experiencing 144Hz was not as life changing as simply the vividness and brightness of the panel. An equally superb experience was moving from 1080p to 1440p. I can game with a RTX 2060 and still get 100+ FPS in recent titles and over 144FPS in E-Sport Titles. Outside of games, having a 1440p screen is almost as good as having a dual monitor 1080p setup. My productivity increased just by having a larger screen real estate. If youre still on 1080p and / or using a TN Panel, it is definitely time to switch and for a sub $300 price you most certainly cannot go wrong. This is a must buy!!

> 3 dayWhat I like: - 1440p 27 in monitor with built-in speakers at a good price - sound quality is good for everyday things - monitors LED doesnt blink when I suspend the computer. The light changes to amber and is barely noticeable. Other monitors blink so brightly and light up the room at night - USB charging ports What I dont like: - no eye saver mode. There are other modes, but I cant tell the difference between them for the the work I do. I got a monitor that has eye saver mode, and it really does save your eyes - there are cheaper 1440p 27in monitors with built in speakers now. Id probably buy one of them now. Their LED might blink when suspended, but I found that covering the LED with three layers of duct tape mutes the color
