Greater than one weekNot sure if I won the panel lottery but this monitor is incredible! I have no dead pixels or backlight bleed at all! Ran the UFO test and Lagom monitor calibration tests and have perfect gamma and saturation. Ive decided to put my settings at 120hz so I can use 10 bit color as well. HDR is best left off because Windows just doesnt handle HDR well and honestly without HDR the colors look phenomenal on this monitor. I have response time at normal as I mainly play single player story driven games and have seen no ghosting or trails. 27 QHD is the sweet spot for gaming and general desktop use, I love the extra screen space. I upgraded from a 24 inch 1080p and there is no going back now! I highly recommend this monitor, I think some of these other reviewers dont know how to set correct settings in Radeon/NVIDIA/Windows and are dropping low reviews due to user error, this is an outstanding monitor and cant recommend it enough!

> 3 dayI purchased this during prime day specifically for console gaming, and it will be tough to beat the price for a quality budget monitor from a company Ive actually heard of before. Since Xbox is very particular about what monitors it allows you to play 1440p at 120hz in, this one did it out of the box, no problems whatsoever. I was initially a little hesitant because acer has 37 similar models and I couldnt find a long technical review specifically for this one, but it seems to be a really solid monitor for the price.

> 3 dayRecently I bought a new gaming PC, that included an MSi Gaming Trio RTX 3080, but being bottlenecked by my 60hz 1080p monitor, I might as well have been plaing on a GTX 1080. Wanting to push more of the limits of my new GPU, I purchased this monitor. Going from 60hz 1080p gaming to 144hz 1440p gaming is a large jump. The smoothness is unparralled by any monitor Ive seen, and it is dramatically noticeable when changing the settings back to 60hz. There is clearly a lot more detail at 1440p as well. The games look that much more realistic and look way more beautiful. Definitely a good addition to any person who enjoys gamings tech collection. The colors look better than my last monitor also. I think there could be more color callibration features, but thats something Ill work out and maybe update my review upon figuring out. But so far, the brightness and color looks fine great, being an IPS monitor with HDR. Although you supposedly cant get overdrive and HDR at the same time, the display has very accurate colors regardless. The overdrive is already preconfigured, but most monitors benefit most from the normal setting for overdrive, in order to get that response-time down and decrease motion blur for a true 144fps experience. I dont notice much motion blur, everything looks smooth as butter to me, but this is also my first time viewing a 144hz monitor. But regardless, its a giant leap from 60hz 1080p in terms of image quality and video smoothness, and Im happy with this purchase, and will now get to experience better what my PC is capable of.

> 3 dayMonitor itself is good. However, either the dp cable that comes with it is terrible or is broken. I can easily get it out of my gpu, but I can’t get it out on the monitor side with pushing the button.

Greater than one weekHas features found in $500 monitors, and a near identical panel to some in that category. I was scared because of the last letter in the model name being different than the more will known version. Dont know what was changed, by the panel is the same. This deal cannot be beat at $250!

02-04-2025Switched from a 240hz MSI MAG251RX which is 1080p. 1440p makes a world of difference, and motion clarity is comparable to that of the MSI. My monitor had no issues and Im extremely happy with my purchase. BFI implementation is really good.

> 3 dayThis monitor makes games look absolutely stunning. Going from 1080p gsync to 1440p gsync makes the games look so much better. Everything is sharper without having to crank the terrible anti-alliasing in games settings. I will not be going back to 1080p after experiencing this monitor. I also will not be going back to TN monitors, as I can safely say that an IPS monitor (like this one) are much nicer. My only complaints are the brightness (which I rate 2 stars out of 5), and the occasional flickering. It took me about an hour of testing across multiple games just to find the perfect brightness because I had to adjust the gamma, contrast, and colors just to make it bright enough and still look sharp. The issue that then arose was the flickering back to lower brightness settings. Occasionally the monitor will change back to the original brightness settings that it came with and theres not much I can really do except turn it off and on again to fix it. Sometimes it will just keep flickering between the two modes. Ive found this usually happens after prolonged use, so Ive made sure to turn off the monitor even if my computer is still on. Issues aside, I got this monitor on sale for $300 and its well worth the money.

> 3 dayI recently purchased two each of the following 27 inch 1440P IPS monitors to use in a 4 monitor array where I already owned two Acer K272HUL Dbmidpx L 27 IPS monitors. Ranked from favorite to least favorite below: 1) Acer Nitro XV272U Pbmiiprzx 27 WQHD - these are my new favorite 1440p monitors due to the fact that they seem to deliver the best image quality out of all of the monitors that I have tested. I use these for productivity and am not really a gamer. Great text readability, minimal back light bleed, nice sleek design, decent glare reduction without making images blurry (see notes on the Dell unit below). Great controls and menu except a little inconvenient if you have these mounted side by side as the controls are on the right rear of the monitors so might be difficult to access on the left monitor due to placement. Youll need to physically move the monitor to access the controls. Not a big deal to me though. 2) Asus ProArt Display PA278QV - these were my second favorite but I just simply preferred the image quality from the Acer Nitro XV272U a little better. I dont love the measuring lines on the front of the display but suspect they may be useful for video/photo editors? I also think the menu system and buttons can be improved a little. Overall, a nice monitor but didnt quite cut it for me. 3) Acer Nitro VG270U BMIIPX - great image quality and similar image quality like the other Acers listed above, but the fatal flaw with these is they caused my computer to slow to a crawl whenever my PC would wake from sleep. I contacted Acer support and they believe it to be an issue with the firmware thats installed on the monitors. Returned them. 4) Dell U2719D - really nice sleek design with a great menu system controls and input options but the anti glare coating was too aggressive for my liking and the image quality was just meh to me when compared to the two Acers listed above. Hope this helps someone searching for monitors :)

> 3 dayThe image and build quality are quite nice on this monitor, but I noticed initially the brightness was very low, even at 100%. For whatever reason, after a few days the monitor seemed to warm up and the brightness came to an acceptable level. From about a week onward the monitor has been plenty bright even at 60%. If you notice the brightness is not very high, try giving it a few days to see if it improves.

> 3 dayIve used this monitor for roughly a year and have no complaints other then the HDR looking a bit dull and the brightness being quite poor. I recently bought an ROG monitor and Im blown away with the difference in response and picture quality. If you can find this for a really good deal 150-200$ it would be worth it I suppose, but just pay the 300$ for the Asus.
