Great on paper - usb 3 hub, 165 hz, 2 display ports. everything I wanted in a 1440p monitor. On initial plugin, I got an extremely washed screen. Turning of HDR for the display made that go away. On Macos Monterey, fonts arent crisp, the horizontal parts of the letter P, for example would be thinner on top than in the middle. Also got some pink and cyan flashes on day one, that was concerning right away. There is also a slight flicker now and then. On Windows things looked better and I was able to game. On the 4th day, randomly, my mac and the monitor wouldnt talk anymore. Other cable didnt fix, reboot didnt fix. Only when I put in my old monitor were things normal again. I decided to return it. Some other gripes, even when it worked: * The 2 side usb ports are not in an easy accessible location. Those ports normally are great for usb stick, a mouse or headphones dongle, but they are so deep in that you have to move the monitor to reach them * The on-screen menu cant be brought up if it doesnt have a working signal. So I cant troubleshoot anything in the menu when the display is black. It really frustrated me when the signal went out * The on-screen menu is also super slow, even for input switching, very tedious

Minimal light bleed on the edges which I cant say for an Asus comparative model I recently used. Overall very happy with acer on this one

I’ve been looking for a solid 1440p monitor that can run up to 120hz at a reasonable entry level price ever since I’ve purchased my new Xbox. If you’re a casual gamer looking for a reasonably priced monitor for your new console I wouldn’t look much further than this monitor. It’s currently priced at $300 and with the included features, it’s a steal. I personally don’t care for 4K gaming, I don’t believe game publishers are aiming for that either, i think most console gamers should care about performance. 4ms grey to grey response time, sharp colors, and 120hz at 1440p is game changing and it’s what most PC gamers are aiming for. If it was still $400 I’d tell you, you have better options in comparison, at $300, you should probably get one before they’re out of stock. I’m not a monitor nerd at all, but to me the colors out of the box are fantastic, all I did on my end is enable freesync, adjusted my xbox tv settings to match my monitors capabilities, loaded up Warzone and had amazing experience, hope you do the same.

Resolution is great in the better resolution version. Colors are pretty vibrant. 144hz refresh rate, great. Minimalistic, pretty nice. My problem with it is that during use, in the middle of an intense battle of cold war, my monitor will randomly go blank, black screen, noise will cut out as well. Sometimes just the sound will go and my graphics will still be there. Usually lasts a couple (like 5-10) seconds. But sometimes lasts like 30 seconds and its quite annoying. It could be my computer or settings I use but it seems to more during gaming use, still (more) rarely happens during web browsing and other light(er) tasks but not as often. Its a good monitor but could be better, especially for the price. Its a somewhat fair deal but I would spend a little more on a different monitor if you have the money. Again could be my computer itself or it could be the monitor but why risk it? Ill mess around with my settings a little bit and see if that fixes it but kind of skeptical of any fix with settings. Ill keep you updated. Until then it should be put in save for later if you are looking for a more budget friendly option, but beware it MAY be the monitor or my computer, time will tell.

Has features found in $500 monitors, and a near identical panel to some in that category. I was scared because of the last letter in the model name being different than the more will known version. Dont know what was changed, by the panel is the same. This deal cannot be beat at $250!

These things are awesome… I got two of them for work/gaming and I could instantly see a difference over my old 1080p monitors… everything is more vibrant, crisp and clean.

La calidad de imagen no es buena. Ni activando el HDR ni configurando todo logras que de buenos colores. Así que decepcionado de este producto

Great picture with very little if any shadowing. Built in crosshairs is nice for shooting games. Seems to be no lag on max setting. Would recommend for gaming.

G-SYNC- A lot of reviews on here are conflicting I am running on a gtx 1080 ftw when I received it came with a HDMI which limits it plus the G-Sync was not showing up. I ordered a DP cable what is better for pc monitors and after the switch the option to Set up G-SYNC has shown up now in the Nvidia control panel to enable it on this monitor Monitor- Came with no dead pixels setup was really easy simple connect with a twist screw at the base of the stand. The screen first boot was dim and dark can easily go into the settings and adjust to make it perfect for my desk and room lighting so not a problem after some tweaking played a few games and seems dark like the gamma is low I currently gave the HDR on so it wont let me adjust it on the monitor but probably little more tweaking and it will be fine after but doesnt bother me much. Final- Dont have really any cons for me but I have only just got this monitor and its my first 1440p 144hz monitor so I have not experienced others to compare just thought I would clear up the G-Sync issue and give my thoughts.
