> 3 dayInstalled Merlin and off it went. This is my third Asus router and by far the best yet. Currently seeing internet speeds well over 900 down, a jump 50% from the last router without changing anything except the router. It IS expensive compared to some other routers but you get what you pay for.

> 3 dayFirst the router came a day early. It was easy to set up. I replace my old router with it and resolved my intermittent connection issues. The mobile application is simple to use.

> 3 dayThe Asus AX5700 was an upgrade to an old apple extreme wifi router that was too slow for todays standards. The Asus AX5700 was easy to install and worked for most electronics except for my older laptop that needed a new updated driver for AX (wifi 6). Once the update was manually installed it worked well. The speed on this thing exceeds 200mbps on speed tests and has not been slow in over a week with our 200mbps cable plan. Streaming of 4 devices simultaneously with no lag is a big improvement from our always laggy apple extreme router that couldn’t handle more than 2 streaming devices. Definitely recommended to anyone that has several devices and needs stable high speeds for zoom calls or just for fun gaming.

> 3 dayI purchased this router in January (~3 months ago) to upgrade from a Nighthawk AC2600. I bought it because Ive got an increasing amount of smart devices in my home, and I need stable WiFi in order to work. The extra range was great and my smart devices no longer had connection issues. That is... until this morning when I woke up to no internet. The router refuses to turn on, regardless of where I plug it in, rendering it as useful as a brick. I called ASUS support since Im outside of the return window on Amazon. I was greeted w/ a 10 business day turn around time and Id have to purchase the supplies to ship it. For a $300 router that I need in order to work from my home. Im going to try a TP-Link AX5400 instead. Half the cost, and hopefully better quality than this.

> 3 dayI have had this for about a month and I am using it with Green Light, a local fiber optic service. The unit was well-packed using recyclable material. It had very clear instructions for the minor assembly required and setting it up was easy a nd fast. I have a two story 4 bedroom home. The router is in the office on the first floor in the rear of the house but the signal reaches the front upper bedrooms and provides stable uninterrupted wireless streaming TV and internet. I will keep my fingers crossed that it continues to work well over the upcoming months and years before it becomes obsolete.

> 3 dayBought a pair, excellent wifi coverage. Installed using wired backhaul, only issue is that I didnt know you cant use 2.5gb ports as dedicated backhaul, hopefully asus will make this available later.

> 3 dayIt was worth it to me. I switched from an older linksys and extender to cover my place. It was slow and clunky. Now i dont need an extender at all - full signal at opposite ends. 802.11ax is fantastic.

> 3 dayEasy to install. My speeds went up by a factor of 4. Worth the money. Not using it for gaminig so cant comment on that. We have up to 6 devices wirelessley and one device hard wired and dont see any lag.
