This stuff is all greek to me and I had no idea what I was doing. But the hardest part was figuring out which cord went into which plug and then creating the password in the app. Once I had that figured out set up was a breeze. This is a huge upgrade from my internet providers router. I am very happy!

This has terrible performance, very slow internet all around the house, in the room where the router is and only 20 feet away in the other room. Should have never have wasted money on this one

Living in the country, we need to squeeze every bit of speed we can from our service, and this machine does it! Its obviously more powerful than we need for rural internet, but it instantly doubled the transmitted signal compared to our TP-Link AX3000 (Archer AX55).

This wireless router is for gamers indeed; in parallel its spec offers giant capability to manage many clients. Having circa 50 high-load bandwith consumers in the house - zero problems !!! Interface is very intuative, and additionaly smartphone applications offer well designed interface with the right data to monitor. and - for those looking to have dual WAN - it is a good option as well.

Best Router I could purchase! Really easy to set up, great WiFi signal coverage, I use it with OpenVPN connection, really rare that get disconnected from VPN Server, but a easy reconnect server can solve issue. If youre not afraid of customize your router, you should install Asus Merlin Firmware, gets even better with more options for customization.

Never failed the connections again like my 4 year old TPLink. Nothing to complain but the price.

Bought for my fiber connection, was easy to setup and use until it abruptly stopped working for no detectable reason.

Not sure WHY I spent $300 bucks on this when it can’t even block one simple chat site! ANY site using HTTPS or compression CANT BE BLOCKED! This means the ONLY way to block it is to block ALL of that type of sites - such as blocking ALL MESSAGING! Your home will NEVER be free of the porn chat site Omegle! Nope! Either block it all or block none that’s how it goes! URL/keyword filter will NOT WORK with ANY OF THOSE SITES! Strange because Verizon wireless doesn’t seem to have an issue for smart phones - they can block it just fine but a $300 router can’t block a chat site unless you block them all for all devices on that profile! Seems like a huge waste of money and time. Both of which I am short on. So now what!? Pay another service to do what this router said it could do? Hope predators don’t get to my kids? That’s impossible. They always find a way into your home no matter what you do - you can try to block, pay for software for phones or internet, pay for routers, pay for services and there will ALWAYS BE A WAY AROUND IT! UPDATE- RETURNED! If you want BASIC and i do mean BASIC parental controls, good luck with even that on this router, yes it is ok for being fast, but that is it. The app doesnt work well, you have to go to the website to do much of anything, and even then hitting apply and waiting and finding out what you just blocked is not blocked, etc. it is just ridiculous that it cant block HTTPS when that is the most used. Terrible and should be advertised properly that it cant block these sites. Synology can, without a problem, and you can set up a custom block page, the controls are much better, the web interface is great, the app of course is still lacking but the web interface is very good.
