> 24 hourGreat router for my 1 bedroom apartment. Covers the entire apartment without any interruptions. Fast for streaming and gaming. The app interface is also pretty good and easy to setup.

> 24 hourI needed to get a strong signal to the front of a detached garage (for a Ring camera). Tried my old router, a decent Netgear, with an extender. Nope. Tried Google Nest Mesh wifi...the cameras would connect with nearby Google Points, and I got a great signal for a day or so; then Google would reconnect the cameras to the main router, and get a terrible signal again. Six months of work with Ring and Google got the same results every time. I would not recommend a mesh system to anyone yet! Bought this Asus, and life is good. Signal is adequate at front of garage, and great everywhere else. Consistent performance, no drop outs, and lots of control of details I didnt know I needed to know. Tech support was a little iffy, but ultimately ok. I recommend this one.

> 24 hourFirst, let me start by saying when this router works, Nothing has ever been so smooth, so fast!

> 24 hourIf you have multi-Gig internet speeds from your ISP, this is the router for you. Its 2.5g WAN port will run over CAT5e and up, to get those speeds from the multi-gig port on your ISP modem. Most importantly, it supports link aggregation (LACP) on its LAN ports so you can tie 2 ports together to deliver 2 Gb/s full-duplex to your network switch(es). Its built in internet speed test is handy to confirm what you are paying for. Its wall mountable too, so it can be out of sight in a closet.

> 24 hourThe analytics and tools - such as traffic analyser, parental tools, site blocking, etc - require you to agree to alow Trend Micro to see your activity. Nope. I would have returned it if Id realized that sooner. Also, one of the eight ethernet ports is dead after a month. And the dhcp server seems to have a habit of trying to assign the same ip address to multiple items on occasion. The range on wireless the same as older Netgear. Wifi 6 works as expected - okay if you are close. My first and last Asus router. Better than Netgear since theyve gone down hill in recent years. Ill try TP Link next time around.

> 24 hourWe purchased this router before the holiday. It was very simple to set up to the same SSID as my previous router. As expected, all of my devices reconnected with this router seamlessly. The router has been running stable for over a month without the need for a reboot and all of my devices stay online. We are a strictly streaming household using YouTubeTV, Disney+, Netflix, etc. We stream all of that over Wi-Fi and we have no trouble with buffering or degraded resolution, even when watching 4K content on Disney+. The range of this router is excellent as it covers our entire 6000 sq/ft of living space across 3 levels. This is a great performing router that offers a lot of features (VPN, Dynamic DNS, QoS, etc) that other routers may not offer. For us, it was a spectacular choice for a reasonable price.

> 24 hourIf you need a standalone wireless router this one is great plus the Trend Micro AIProtect features help protect you network beyond the usual simple firewall. Unfortunately I have also purchased an Asus RT-AC86U router to use the AIMesh feature to provide better whole house coverage. This router goes through the motions of adding the RT-AC86U but then fails at the end with no information on why it failed to add it. Irritating to say the least...

> 24 hourI love the traffic tracking system , it will show you real time WAN / LAN traffic and also shows traffic per day/week/month/device and App. You can restrict bandwidth per device, firewall and QoS so you can prioritize what kind of stream will have higher priority in the router.

> 24 hourThe router delivers excellent stability and speed. It runs perfectly with all my busy DS918+ NAS, desktops and a number of mobile devices. No lags happened while my desktop was uploading stuffs to my NAS and playing an online game at the same time.
