> 24 hourThe router is not consistent and web pages randomly hang. The technical support is very poor. I would not recommend this router.

> 24 hourI bought this because I thought Asus is making good quality products. It is the most frustrating device. I have 7 different routers including 3 asus, 2 netgear and 2 TP link. This Asus router keep disconnecting and wifi signal is horrible. I did reset the router several times. I contacted the asus and in order to get stable connection they have suggested to disable AX option, dsf option, 160ghz option. Basically everything you pay for needs to be disabled. I still have issues and now they want me to fill out form with log info and send it to asus to be tested on their lab. The wifi signal is 10% of what they are advertising. I have only 1400 sq feet townhouse. In the meanwhile my older netgear which cost less than $100 doing 100 times better. This is a real life experience reviews. Please be advice that you will pay for options that you have to disable. Do not buy this router.

> 24 hourAll I can say is this router does increase my internet, but there aren’t many changes bc of my low internet plan. I will change this review when I upgrade my plan to see how effective this router does.

> 24 hourBeamforming works, furthest device (4K TV) signal strength goes from 2 bars (idle) to 4 bars when turned on. Speedtest Mpbs much higher than previous AC-88u router

> 24 hourSeems to have decent options for power users, but non-tech people will probably find it a bit confusing. I was very surprised that WiFi 6 was DISABLED BY DEFAULT. It does support WAN and LAN bonding for those looking for those options. LAN 1&2 can be bonded, as well as WAN&LAN4 giving you 2Gb links if your ISP and clients can support it.

> 24 hourI purchased this primarily after scouring several reviews on which would be a good router to cover a single story house with 3500Sq ft. This one foots the bill perfectly. From one end of the single story house to the extreme other end, I still get a signal. I have a gigabit internet, but was not using the whole bandwidth due to me having an old TMobile Cellspot1900 router (which internally is RT 68U). Its range was very limited. This 88U is having a lot of advanced features and also I can immediately see the results. I am getting almost 250-300Mbps at several locations throughout my house. It also looks stylish with the antennas. If you need a router with great range, this is it. You could wait till you get 6E Router, and later Wi-Fi 7 router and so on, and you shall keep waiting. Oh, one last thing, I plan to setup my existing one as a AiMesh as well to increase the range, which I could do with this one.
