Greater than one weekCan’t wait to hook it up and see how it performs. For now we assume it’ll be as advertised and blow current time capsule out of the water. If there’s an update will come back.

Greater than one weekThis ASUS RT-AX88U has been running flawlessly for over four months now without one reboot or wifi connection issue. Bought this to upgrade my ASUS RT-AC66U that was running fine for many years but always had weak 5 GHz signal strength in our 3500 sqft two story home no matter how I tried to tune it. Wanted to be ready for new AX wifi 6 but was planning to use my old router as an access point or mesh connection for better coverage. However this AX88U router provides a stronger 5GHz signal strength in all corners of the house and garage so devices never automatically drop to the 2.4 GHz band anymore. So I dont need to add my old second router or mesh network now. ! I highly recommend this new ASUS AX6000 router especially if you need the extra ethernet ports. Otherwise consider the AX11000 tri band router so you have two 5.0 GHz bands since most all of your future devices, phones, ipads, TVs, firesticks, etc will be using 5.0 GHz for speed. I kinda regret not getting the more expensive tri band router but I actually use more than 5 ethernet ports for desk systems and stuff without adding switches.

> 3 dayBought it from my local Frys and it worked fine until I noticed the 2.4GHz radio stopped working. Tried downgrading the firmware, switching to merlin, and nothing worked. Ended up returning it. Disappointing as I expected more from ASUS. There was nothing I could do to get the radio back and from what Ive read on several forums, its a pretty common issue.

Greater than one weekGot this for the wifi 6 technology but this also turned into one if not the best router that ive ever owned. Strong signal all over our house snd backyard and no need to reset this device every couple days like my last one, which was a high end gaming router. Glad i upgraded.
