> 3 dayDrops wifi the same way that the ac88u did. Asus support just says that it is normal to have the wifi constantly dropping. Would not recommend anything by asus until they fix their support and quality issues.

> 3 dayCurrent pic is wrong description of the router model. This is for Asus GT-AX600. Incredible router for range, speed, customization and much more. I am running Merlin software and it’s very stable. I know most manufacturers are jumping on the band wagon if making tri band and now quad band vining out but I am very happy with this machine. I don’t need any other router to do what I am throwing at this one. I have a 1 Gig plan and running about 17 devices and the router handles them all flawlessly. My signal extends in the back yard all the way back as well as three houses down. This is just incredible. Get yours now before Asus stops manufacturing dual band routers.

> 3 dayI bought it to replace an older Linksys unit. I wished it had worked as a replacement. It didnt hence had to sadly return a unit. The reason for my returning it is that it did not recognize my Brother MFC printer that hung off the router via an ethernet port. I even tried the USB option (which is NOT my preference) but it simply refused to detect or work. I contacted the help-chat but they didnt know what to do and hence escalated the issue to the next tier. They were to call me in 24-48 hrs...which they didnt. That was the last nail in this coffin. I had to repackage the unit and return to Amazon.

> 3 dayMy network spans 3 floors, can run up to four FireTV Streaming Cubes simultaneously, and supports TP link-Alexa lights, and seven Wyze Cameras. I run an ASUS mesh network with Routers as mesh nodes. My main router is an ASUS AX600 WiFi 6. Most all other nodes support Triband WiFi. One FireTV was giving me operating fits (stream drops, slow response and more) Download speed varied over WiFi. With FireTV WiFi gives the highest speed because the wired Ethernet port is only 100 Mbps operating around 80 Mbps. WiFi 6 speeds can range from 100 Mbps to 400 Mbps+.

> 3 dayReplaced and older Asus router and this one far exceeds that one in performance and range. No drops from the distant points that used to struggle. Currently have about 45 devices - phones, laptops, PCs, security cameras and smart devices sprinkled around the home and not a single issue. We use many of the security features to the max and have some port forwarding, etc. No issues. Just works great.

> 3 dayI paid up for this router because WIFI and the internet are essential to making a living for me. Look elsewhere. Mine tanked after just less than a year. I got to spend an hour waiting for a customer service rep who then spent 20 minutes trying to get the spelling of my email address correct....for a registered product..ASUS already has all that data tied to the serial number which I had already given him. He then had me reboot the router and my modem 6 times though I explained that I had already done both 20 times before I called. Thanks for nothing.

> 3 dayGreat range, speed and EZ setup. ASUS customer service is difficult as it is all in India.

> 3 dayWe control a large number of devices, switches, shades, lights, etc. over the WiFi network. Wish I had thought through things better when I set up the new router. I should have named the 2.4 gHz router with the same name as my old router because I have a couple of devices that are old and operate on 2.4 gHz only. This router automatically selects the signal that is strongest and the old devices wouldnt recognize the signal. I think this is because the router was trying to hook up via 5.0 gHz. Live and learn.
