I spent a fortune on this setup... an RT-AX88U as my main node in the basement, and 2 XT8s as my AIMesh nodes. My house isnt that big (~2300 Sq Ft) but I use the nodes as the backhaul for wired devices. I just installed everything and the two XT8s keep going offline and then connected WEAK, and then offline again. I thought my Google WiFi was an issue, but it never behaved like this. My main router is, maybe, 25 from the nearest XT8, through one floor (wood/drywall), and its still having issues.

Handles all the required traffic of multiple devices I’m my entire home.

This is a great router, easy to configure and the app is excellent..

La velocidad de transferencia en mi red local con la llegada de este router aumento más que al doble. La fuerza del señal en los cuartos detrás de paredes de concreto también aumentó. Además ya no tengo problemas cuando alguien quiere jugar en línea y otro quiere transferir archivos en la red local. La velocidad no se ve afectada. La instalación fue extremadamente facil y rápida. En 5 minutos ya teníamos la red e internet funcionando.

No more dead zones or bad video chats. Easy to setup too.

Bought this to replace my older AC3100 as the 5ghz was crapping out so it was time to upgrade (warranty being over as well).

Everything worked fine connected to my cable modem with one cable.

The product is fine, the Amazon connection is TERRIBLE. When you buy an ASUS product from Amazon, if it is shipped from someone other than Amazon, ASUS starts the warranty clock when the shipper orders their supply !!!! I originally could not even sign up for the warranty because the serial number had already been claimed by someone else. I finally was given a warranty date 6 months shorter than normal because of the time my unit sat on the shelf at the shipper. I complained, and ASUS cut off another 6 months of warranty! I complained some more and got back the original 6 months shorter warranty. Total amount of wasted time .... about 3 or 4 days with a bad outcome.

Surprisingly easy to set up/install. So far weve gotten a massive wifi boost throughout the house. Impressive.
