> 3 dayGot this router 1 day ago, brand new. Been struggling hours ever since to access it or get it to connect. ASUS Support services supplied a few directions on how to solve the problem, but it seems they are simply working off a checklist and not hearing what I am telling them - some call center abroad with people who cant speak proper English. Finally got fed up and decided to return it. So much for quick and easy installation.

> 3 dayRun away from it. This router is extremely bad in range. There is a lot of hype about this router but this router frequently disconnects from the internet unlike all other router brands that I had.

> 3 dayI have Frontier FIOS (formerly Verizon market) I own my G1100 from VZ and so its been giving me problems 3 years in. I didnt want to rent my router from Frontier so i been researching on reddit and came across this router. Essentially i had difficulty getting the lease to release from the G1100 and ended up calling Frontier who released both the ONT and Router. after that the set-up was easiest via the ASUS app. And i already own an RT68U thats set-up for AP. After set-up the speeds were big especially for Wifi. Plus range was so much better. I am overall happy with the router. Its a bit bulky but seems like a reliable router so far.

> 3 dayGreat router, I have nothing to bad to say about it. I have been trying to get this router for a decent price for a while. I finally was able to buy it, but something sketchy is happening here. I pretty sure I purchased this brand new. But somehow i bought this used. I received it thinking it was sealed by the manufacturer, but it was just scotched taped up. And there was a sticker on it with Amazon marketplace. Granted it looks new and everything, but i am not comfortable, that amazon was misleading me in buying a new router and end up getting a Used one. I would give this a 5 star, but really sketch up switching it up. I never saw on the site it was used when i decided to buy it. SO SKETCHY.

> 3 dayBought this back in March of 2019. It served my well up till a few months back. Noticed my download speeds had dipped from 350 to about 90 on blast. Did the normal firmware resets and thats when it stopped connecting to my modem. Did a few calls with ASUS and ended up sending it in for repair. But after 2 days they must have realized it was a mute point in fixing and just sent me a new one.

> 3 dayThis router doubled the speed of my wireless internet at close range and made long range speeds go up even more. Highly recommend.

> 3 daySo far so good. I originally had the AC3100 version and the 2.4ghz signal died like many others mentioned. I took a gamble and upgraded to the AX version based on the additional capabilities (speed oh my) and I loved the ASUS interface (I use the stock version, not Merlin). I also love the trend net security that is built in. It really helps the non cyber security nerds keep their network secure. Highly recommend this!
