> 3 dayI have yet to really max this modem out, but my old one was just not cutting it with the entire family at home working and playing during the stay at home order. Easy to set up and the signal is great for the entire house.

> 3 dayI returned this because it would not keep the upstream Internet connection for more then a few hours without needing to reboot. I have an ASUS RT-AC68W that works fine with the same connection so just returned to using that. I was going to combine them in an AI-Mesh network but just figured out another way to go with this.

> 3 dayExperiencing the same dropped wifi issue as many other reviewers. However, after I logged in to take a look at the system logs to try to see what was happening, I noticed that the router uptime was only a few minutes, meaning that the wifi drop was actually a reboot. Asus support recommended I return the router straight away, but I escalated to try to get some kind of explanation. Will update if I hear back from them.

> 3 daySeems to have decent options for power users, but non-tech people will probably find it a bit confusing. I was very surprised that WiFi 6 was DISABLED BY DEFAULT. It does support WAN and LAN bonding for those looking for those options. LAN 1&2 can be bonded, as well as WAN&LAN4 giving you 2Gb links if your ISP and clients can support it.

17-11-20242nd time a charm. The first unit shipped to us was clearly used, not new. The box was taped up and everything was there, but not in wrapping or put where one would think it should go. Sure enough, when I went to set it up, it was already locked up with someone elses user name and password. Paying this much for a product, I want it new. So rather than mess around with tech support in order to use someones returned item, I sent it back and got a new router. Check your box when it arrives, it should be wrapped in plastic and every part secured. The plug should have a plastic cover over the end.

> 3 dayI had to return this router! I ran it in legacy mode, and the regular mode and the connection dropped like crazy. I would reset it and it still would fail. Contacted tech support multiple time, they gave solutions that ended up not working. The last time I contacted them, they sent my issue to a higher technical and I never heard from them again. My spectrum router worked better!

> 3 dayOriginally purchased at the beginning of 2020, but I was continually had connection drops. I tried both the OEM firmware as well as the Merlin firmware. I wanted it to work because the amount of devices that I have connected (somewhere north of 60 devices). Connection was still spotty, and then COVID hit. Telework was the norm, and I needed to be on a steady connection. I went back to my AC-5300 because I knew that was still working. In the back of my mind, though, I wanted it to work. After reading many forum threads and having some down time with work, I came to the realization that I might need to re-provision my modem (based on a forum thread I read). I did it with self-service which my ISP allowed, and miraculously, the connection has been rock steady. It has worked for me, but Im not sure if this is the fix for most. Stability has been so solid, I purchased some of the wifi 6 extenders that ASUS offers, and they have been solid, as well, in mesh. I would say that I am happy with my purchase finally, but it has been a long drawn out journey.
