> 24 hourI have a 50+ foot long home with the base internet on one side and was getting weak signals far away from base router. I have 300/300 Bis service, and near the base router I can exceed that. At the far end of the house 100/50 approximately 30 feet and 2 walls away from the node which is good a enough to stream 1080p video several times over. Note some devices I needed to bind to the base router so it would connect to the stronger signal.

> 24 hourWorks for me no problem. Have had no issues so far, no drop offs no speed issues. Also I have a ton of smart gadgets all working and connected just fine. The 6E backhaul is a charm.

> 24 hourFirst I wrote a quite negative review but I was able to figure out something. This thing works! But not in all cases. I have a few support open with ASUS and there are some problems with the firmware. And some are quite serious problems.

> 24 hourThis has been so much better than our previous router/extender setup. No more handoffs and much faster speeds over wireless. Definitely happy with this purchase

> 24 hourI bought from ASUS website. I wish I bought on Amazon with insurance. ASUS sucks big time for everything. The customer service sucks. Last product I will ever buy from ASUS. Here I come engenius or ubiquiti!

> 24 hourI did not deduct a star because I was able to figure out exactly how to use these in my situation. I did not want one to be the router and the other as the node. What I wanted to do was add both as nodes and continue using my Asus RT-AX86s as the main router. I must note that all my hardware is connected via Ethernet - lucky for me, my house came prewired for it in all rooms. I reset both devices and then was able to add them both as nodes - one on main floor in my room and one upstairs in my sons room (the RT-AX86S is in the basement) It has worked flawlessly. I did not try to use these as WiFi so cannot comment on those. If you can connect via Ethernet cable, that would be best IMHO.

> 24 hourI bought this because of reviews in magazines, tech websites, and online ratings. Set up not too bad, although it’s tricky. Great range in our 2-story home, Internet signal is strong, and works great . . . When it works. Intermittent connectivity issues and unstable Wi-Fi problems. If using this for Zoom meetings or streaming, expect problems, lags and unstable signal every 20-30 minutes. Very aggravating and disappointing, considering the price of this unit.
