> 3 dayBought due to having gig service…was never able to get over 400-500Mbps. Wired or Wirelessly. Returned and bought an Ubiquity system! Ultimate Dream Router is WAY better!

> 3 dayIt didnt last 5 months. Its too late to send back to Amazon. Coverage was decent, my house is long. So I had a small dead zone in the center. I couldnt ever set up the aimesh feature that I bought this for. After HOURS of trying tech support couldnt even resolve it. Unless the seller gives me some help. Im out the whole system. Oh, and for some reason ASUS official site wouldnt let me register the product. Frustrating.

> 3 dayThis would not maintain a good signal upstairs for us. Our house is not that large, around 1900 sq ft 1960s houseand this would not allow any devices upstairs to reach over 30 MBPS. Tech support decided we had a defective unit. We replaced it and it still had the same issue so we returned. Might work in newer homes,

> 3 dayThere were some reviews indicating issues, which worried me a bit, but I experienced none. Im glad I got an Asus router (lots of options to fiddle with and I can use my old repeater as an AiMesh node). I had it all set up within minutes. After I verified speed and coverage I turned the WiFi radios off on my AT&T BGW-XXX modem/router combo and set this units SSID and password to my old one and all (several dozen) devices around my house connected to this with no issue. Im getting speeds above 500 Mbps in most rooms of my house with pings between 18 and 35 ms. This is a speed increase of 10x in some areas of my house.

Greater than one weekThese were announced by Asus in June 2021, and released broadly around August. Availability was limited and most places didn’t have them in stock until end of 21 / beginning of 22. I just received word that it is “end of life” and would not be receiving firmware updates. A $600 router system that has 1.5 years of support? How long does Asus expect people to keep a product like this? If I want to keep my 1 year old very expensive WiFi 6E router system - I have to live with security vulnerabilities because Asus won’t update the firmware.

> 3 dayI grabbed this back in February of this year, and it worked fine for about two months or so. Then last month the secondary node just stopped connecting to the mesh anymore and we had to factory reset both to get anything to work again. And now the whole thing goes down every few hours and needs to be rebooted - sometimes a couple times before both nodes show up in the app and everything functions again. Will absolutely never be buying another networking solution from ASUS after this.

> 3 dayOut of the box it’s super easy to setup. I recommend identifying what you’ll use for passwords in advance. I liked that the web GUI shows a full list of recommended security settings (e.g., turn off UPnP, etc.). You feel secure immediately. I like that you don’t have to pay for the security like with Orbi.

> 3 dayI bought from ASUS website. I wish I bought on Amazon with insurance. ASUS sucks big time for everything. The customer service sucks. Last product I will ever buy from ASUS. Here I come engenius or ubiquiti!

> 3 dayI moved into a new tri-level 5000 sq foot home and purchased this mesh system as I read that it should be the latest and greatest system. I had the google nest system in my previous home and loved it. I have fought the following issues:
