> 3 dayThis would not maintain a good signal upstairs for us. Our house is not that large, around 1900 sq ft 1960s houseand this would not allow any devices upstairs to reach over 30 MBPS. Tech support decided we had a defective unit. We replaced it and it still had the same issue so we returned. Might work in newer homes,

> 3 dayThese were announced by Asus in June 2021, and released broadly around August. Availability was limited and most places didn’t have them in stock until end of 21 / beginning of 22. I just received word that it is “end of life” and would not be receiving firmware updates. A $600 router system that has 1.5 years of support? How long does Asus expect people to keep a product like this? If I want to keep my 1 year old very expensive WiFi 6E router system - I have to live with security vulnerabilities because Asus won’t update the firmware.

> 3 dayIf you use two or more nodes, be aware of the connection issues. All nodes but the main one keep getting disconnected.

> 3 dayAs for Wi-Fi 6 routers, Ive tried Asuss sub $300 gaming one, TPLinks sub $400 one. This one blows both of them out of the water.

> 3 dayI had a T-Mobile branded Asus router and it worked great for years. It was solid with a very good user interface. I would rarely lose connection with that router.

> 3 dayA cada rato se desconecta de internet los aparatos que estén enganchados con el Asus, muy molesto estar reseteando a cada rato para que vuelva a funcionar

05-04-2025Im really disappointed with the Asus ET8 with Wifi 6E. I wanted to use just 6Ghz for the backhaul to reduce 5Ghz congestion and the nodes are only 30 feet apart in the same open space and still it keeps losing 6Ghz connectivity between the nodes.

> 3 dayJust purchased and set this up. The Asus ZenWIFI Mesh ET8 setup fairly quickly using the downloadable app compared to the PC interface, maybe since I was overwhelmed with all the selections. System came up and worked first time as my first Mesh router system, including the Firmware updates to both units. Once complete, connection of devices both wired and WiFi are working well. So far so good. Documentation as others mentioned could be better.

01-04-2025Connectivity started dropping about every 10 minutes. I work from home so had to run to get something else. Highly disappointed with reliability and when googling found this problem has happened with others.
