Greater than one weekThis provides excellent speeds and coverage. However, I have never had so many issues with stability in a router.

> 3 dayThe WiFi system does what it advertised. Easy install and the coverage and signal strength is awesome. Eliminate all the dead spots in our 1.5 story ranch style home were the internet service is at one end of the home. The parental control in the app is amazing and allows me to easily schedule individual device downtime to limit my kids screen time. I have been a long time customer of Asus products and this WiFi route delivered as expected!

> 3 dayThis mesh system is average in my opinion. For the price I would like to see a little better performance. I haven’t owned any other Wifi6E systems so I don’t have anything to compare it to, but I have owned Wi-Fi 5 mesh system that had significantly better range. The speed of this unit is fine id say, but the signal range and the user interface is slow. What I mean is when I visit the router web page it freezes up all the time. I have to cycle power on the main unit to get it back responding. Nothing freezes with Wi-Fi access just the user interface. Very annoying! So for speed its 5 of 5 but because of other issues I can only give it a 4 of 5.

> 3 dayI purchased the ET8 mesh pair because it was so highly reviewed. I replaced an Amplifi mesh system that is apparently no longer supported and was not performing very well. Pre-purchase, I saw instructions for setting up a DMZ (controlled zone for untrusted or unsecured smart devices), so I figured it would match the functionality I was used to. Not so much.

Greater than one weekI decided I wanted to upgrade my network to Wifi 6e, and only ASUS filled the bill. I started replacing my Wifi 5 5300 and its meshed partners since there were areas of the house where I just could not get a consistent signal. I replaced the 5300 router with the 11000 AE router still using the 5E units as nodes. I still had dead spots. So, I replaced those nodes with a set of 2 of the ET8s. Still a dead spot. I finally added two more and 2 more still. Now there are no dead spots. While I have no idea why I needed so many nodes to get from one corner of the house to the other, I now have uniform coverage. The mobile app as well as the color of the lights on the ET8s helped me place the units. Moving a unit from one corner of the room to the other made a difference. So with the 11000AE router and 6 ET8s, I no longer have dead spots and the signal is consistent. I should add that as I was trying to work out what would work for me, the email support from ASUS was excellent with fast responses. I am absolutely sold on that brand.

Greater than one weekIm really disappointed with the Asus ET8 with Wifi 6E. I wanted to use just 6Ghz for the backhaul to reduce 5Ghz congestion and the nodes are only 30 feet apart in the same open space and still it keeps losing 6Ghz connectivity between the nodes.

> 3 dayGood product from Asus, lots of customization options within the operating system. However, does not work well with Verizon FIOS (1Gb/s), does not get full 1Gb/s (i.e. ~1,000 Mb/s) upload speeds. For me, tops out at about 200Mb/s upload. Download speed does reach 1Gb/s.
