> 3 dayI bought this pair in March of this year. Now, 10 months later, one of the pair (the primary of course) keeps dropping signal and providing *slow* throughput to the internet and on the local network. I can restore normal operations if I unplug it and plug it back in 10 seconds later. Rebooting does NOT work.

> 3 dayOut of the box it’s super easy to setup. I recommend identifying what you’ll use for passwords in advance. I liked that the web GUI shows a full list of recommended security settings (e.g., turn off UPnP, etc.). You feel secure immediately. I like that you don’t have to pay for the security like with Orbi.

> 3 dayAmazon has mixed apples and oranges with these ratings. The ASUS ZenWiFi Whole-Home Tri-Band Mesh Wi-Fi “6E” System (ET8 2PK) versus the ASUS ZenWiFi AX6600 Tri-Band Mesh Wi-Fi “6” System (XT8 2PK), are two distinctly different products. I own the ASUS AXE11000 router, which I bought just for the 6E capability. Its Wi-Fi 6E is great if you are about 6 feet away. Its located in my basement and if I stand on the floor directly over where the router is located, I can see 6E nicely on my Samsung S20 Ultra. But move a few feet away and Im back to 5 GHz. Nice but no cigar. So in desperation I added the ASUS 6E pair. Both upstairs, and both as wired satellites. Bingo! My whole house now has 6E and my Wi-Fi speeds are as advertised. My Windows 11 PC with a 6E adapter now works too. I can recommend the 6E, ET8 2PK system, but know nothing about the ASUS XT8 2PK system. Amazon needs to separate the ratings for these two radically different systems.

Greater than one weekThe product was removed from its original packaging and repackaged into an Amazon box which was annoying. The units needed to be reset before they would work. The units perform very well.

> 3 dayI moved into a new tri-level 5000 sq foot home and purchased this mesh system as I read that it should be the latest and greatest system. I had the google nest system in my previous home and loved it. I have fought the following issues:

Greater than one weekAs promised the router is fast and can handle my 50+ devices with ease when its operating normally. My house is only 2100 sq feet but has thick walls, so I found mesh networks to work well. Previously had a Deco followed by Google Mesh. Very pleased the 6ghz is stable with a great connection through a brick wall and about 50 feet from the main router.
