> 3 dayI purchased an Asus Zen WiFi ET8 (AXE6600 Tri-band Mesh WiFi 6E System) and an Asus RP-AX56 Extender. Using the Asus Router Mobile APP, I installed both the router and extender. I installed the extender as an AiMesh node to the Asus Zen Router. Installation was a breeze using the mobile APP. The router (primary node) is installed in a back bedroom with node #2 (second ET8 unit in 2 unit set) installed in the kitchen and the RP-AX56 (3rd node) is installed in a front bedroom. This system has definitely improved my WiFi signal. Buffering has been totally eliminated. I am writing this on day 3 since the installation. The system has worked flawlessly. So far, I am extremely pleased with these Asus products.

> 3 dayI recently cut the cord on cable TV and upgraded to 1Gbps (fastest I can go in my area) service to my house. I started out the with typical all-in-one modem-router provided by my ISP but I was having the typical 1st world problem of coverage, lack of flexibility/control, and stability - so I used the money I saved on my cable bill to splurge on Mesh WIFI. It was between the Zen and Netgears Orbi and I ultimately picked Zen - I cant imagine going wrong with either, but the Zen was a bit more affordable and I used the extra money to pick up a pair of MoCA 2.5 adapters (Hitron HT-EM4) to backhaul the paring mesh node by wire vs. wireless.

Greater than one weekThe mesh system worked great for the first 5 months of operation. The remote node maintained a back haul connection on the 6ghz channel with out any problems. After 5 months in operation, the node has started dropping device connections, and dropping its back haul connection. Now I am having to continually optimize the node to reestablish connections. When that doesn’t work, I have to reboot the node I order for it to reestablish the back haul connection. Sometimes it will switch to a 5ghz back haul, and when that happens, speeds drop to 1mbps down and .5mbps up. Basically useless. I wish I would have listened to the other reviewers before purchasing. Firmware is up-to-date. Problems started happening without any changes to the firmware. I’m now looking to switch to a different brand to solve our Wi-Fi needs.

> 3 dayThis product kept dropping my Ring security system from the network throughout the night. I am returning the unit because I cannot have my security system running on cellular data all the time or even at all.

Greater than one weekI have a rather complicated and large home network and after much research I decided to buy this router. I had a few bumps along the way when I first migrated my devices over, and had a hiccup or two getting the mesh running at first. BUT, since then, smooth sailing and fantastic reliable speed. After much testing I found that I really didnt need a second AP with coverage from my main router. But I added the second because, well, why not? We have a 1300sf 2 story town house with a massive amount of nearby networks. And just the one router covers the home, back yard and garage great! But, I still added the second router so I could cover an even bigger area, and while completely unnecessary, its impressive! I had read numerous reports of bad experiences, but I found that by setting up the router, and mitigating many different bad devices, cables, and converters in my LAN, Im getting stable fast internet everywhere.

> 3 dayI bought this highly rated router and 7 months later I did a factor reset and turned it into a brick. That was not the worst part - the worst part is ASUS customer service!

Finally got it up and running then I made the mistake of updating firmware , that was it . Nothing could not find the network or nodes , did everything dumb thing , reboot everything in install and reinstall . Nothing . Waisted a day .
