> 24 hourThis is our #2 book. We bought the #1 one too. Easy to follow, beautiful songs, but it will be great if there are more graphics/pictures to sing along with the lyrics. My 22 months old woke up this morning, went straight for the book, sat down by himself, press the If you are Happy song button, and clap his hands to it. A Happy Bao Bao is a Happy MaMa :)

> 24 hourI feel like I am being ripped off for wanting to expose my child to Chinese culture. Its hard to find good chinese board books.. and the ones on the market are pretty expensive. $20+ for 6 songs that are like 20 seconds long. The quality of the book is fine (better be at this price!) Content is fine, not great because some of the translated songs are slightly awkward grammatically. To me, its really not worth the price, but my L.O. enjoyed most of the songs and it was a bedtime favorite for a little while.

> 24 hourOne of my favorite things to gift is the gift of knowledge and imagination through books. Pei pei brought that love for books and learning into this fun singing book that ties in with my family culture with nursery rhymes I grew up with an Asian American. It really is one of a kind and I cant wait to share this book with other nieces and nephews in the future - and one day, kids of my own.

> 24 hourAs an Asian American parent born in the US, Im always looking for ways to expose my child to mandarin Chinese since mine isnt the best and I still want her to be able to understand and speak the language. The songs catch her attention and are not annoyingly high pitched like some other electronic books. Im thankful it has the English, Pin Ying, and Chinese characters for the lyrics which also helps me make sure Im singing it correctly to her. The pages are thick like a board book and have held up well. We have both the books now and hoping she comes out with more!

> 24 hourMy twin granddaughters, age 2 just love this book as much as the first. They are being raised bilingual and this helps them learn familiar words. How about a third book for Christmas or maybe Chinese New Year.

> 24 hourSo far, were really liking these books! Theyre very cute, easy to understand, and our LO seems to like it so far (though shes very young, but we want to start exposure early). The books have easy songs that are popular in both Chinese and English (Twinkle, twinkle little star, for example) that are translated into Mandarin. As a non Mandarin speaker, I particularly love that the pronunciation is clear and includes pinyin so I can learn with my LO. Were happy with this purchase!

> 24 hourId never exposed my four year old to mandarin and was gifted the original Bao Bao book. My daughter *loved* it so much -- she memorized and will sing all the songs, she loves looking at the pictures and playing the corresponding song. We recently got her this second edition and she was so excited she made up dances for all of the songs. Ive always thought of teaching kids a second language as daunting and difficult, but seeing her light up like this makes me realize that exposure can be so fun for them. Another bonus is shes basically past the age of plastic press a button toys but this book is a much-loved exception. Will be giving this to friends for their little ones birthdays! We love it.
