My daughter LOVES these books!! She’s only 10 months old but the music is so nice that she likes to dance along. It’s super easy for me to follow along as well as the words are in English, pinyin and traditional Chinese writing ( I can’t read that but my husband can lol). We own the red version of this book too and that one is easier if you’re just starting off. This one is a bit more advanced it seems.

I am having lots of fun reading and singing along these three volumes of Bao Bao Learns Chinese bilingual books with my grandson. My daughter-in-law bought volume 1. I found that my grandson loves the songs. Every time i picked up this book and started playing, he would wave his hand and kick his feet. I decided to purchase Volume 2 and 3. We spend a lot of time singing along with the book every day for my grandson. I also enjoyed the book myself. I loved the fact that the book has English translation, pinyin, and Chinese characters. I find that I am learning Chinese as I listen and sing along with the book for my grandson. I also use the book myself to learn Chinese pronunciations as well as writing characters. Thank you for putting these three books together.

We live in Singapore and our 3-year old daughter has started learning Mandarin songs at playgroup. Happily, most of the songs in the first Bao Bao book she knew and was thrilled to be able to play them…over and over and over again! We just received the second book and she’s equally happy playing the nursery rhymes on repeat. It’s definitely a help for her to hear these songs outside of her class and to follow along with the lovely illustrations. Thanks for creating a quality product!

We are trying to teach our infant and toddler Chinese and these books are great. (I dont speak Chinese, my wife speaks some). Unlike most kids toys/books, the songs are pleasant to listen to for us parents, and according to my wife have clear pronunciation. This book and the second book from this company are my kids favorite books, and the older one specifically looks for it when its not around. I gave one to my sister/brother-in-law and their kids(also learning chinese) love it too. My toddler tends to destroy the things she loves, and Ive had to make a couple of repairs (taping pages, glueing the electronics back on). Still, giving the book a 5 for durability because its built as well as any other high-quality board book and shes destroyed others (melissa&doug of similar quality) in the same way.

We absolutely love these books everything about them! They did such a good job I just wish there were more.

My children as well as myself absolutely adore both of these Chinese nursery rhyme books (blue and red). They have learned these songs with me and just cannot say enough good things about these books!

I think the singer are not perfect. It gives us unhappy feelings.

I love that this has an on and off switch! The songs are so fun, and my 3 year old, 6 year old and 8 year old all enjoy them.

Its a great intro to Mandarin Chinese for my little one. We bought the first book so we definitely had to get the second. The tunes are pretty catchy and I find myself singing to them too. The only thing I wish was that there were more songs that came with it than 6 but then again, too many songs might find my daughter struggling to learn them. Cant wait for your next one!
