> 3 dayTotally worth the price! We have both books in the series and my kids love listening to the songs over and over. The buttons are easy enough to press that my 1 year old can do it on her own, and the songs are a good duration, not too long and not too short. I love that there’s a mix of popular English and Chinese songs. So now when my kids start to sing “I’m a Little Teapot” in English, we can sing it through once in English and once in Chinese. They love dancing to the “If You’re Happy and You Know It” song also. We mostly keep the books in the car and it’s kept them entertained for countless car rides.

> 3 dayThis is a great book. After buying the first book in the series and loving it so much I had to buy this book as well. This book is just as impressive as volume one. The songs are clearly saying with beautiful pronunciation. The book itself is written in English and Mandarin making sure all the relatives in my family can read the book with the kids. This book has an extra bonus feature that it also has volume control which I love.

> 3 dayI was so happy when I saw that Peipei Zhou created a second Bao Bao Learns Chinese book! My one-year-old son has played the first books songs (red cover) many times over the past two months. When I introduced the second book (blue cover) to him, he immediately crawled over and began pushing the buttons to play the songs. Each song is sung twice and the lyrics are clear. My child has a few toys that I have hidden because the repetitive sounds are so annoying, but I love to let him play these songs as many times as he likes. My only suggestion is that I appreciate the volume button that has off, low and high options, but would actually prefer to have a level thats even louder. Im learning Chinese as an adult and childrens songs are helping me learn more vocabulary. Because the songs are half traditional western songs, our American friends both feel familiar with the songs and can hum or sing along.

> 3 daySo glad I bought this for my one year old! I was a little hesitant given the price but it was definitely worth it, as soon as my daughter opened it and pressed If your happy and you know it she started clapping along and dancing despite it being an entirely different language than shes used to. Will definitely be purchasing the other book. Great book for introducing mandarin.

> 3 dayAs an Asian-American parent, it was very important for my son to learn English and Chinese. There arent many interactive childrens books out there that offer this. Im so glad I was able to find this one! I already have the first volume and my son loves to sing along with his grandparents. It brings back childhood memories in all of us. The author has done a wonderful job creating this book. She sings the songs and her pronunciation is clear and easy to follow along. The book is durable. There is a switch on the back to allow you to control the volumn. Overall. I am very excited to add this new edition to my sons library.

> 3 dayBaby and I love it !! We bought the first book Back in April 2020. After learning the songs and singing them almost everyday, I just had to get the second book! My now 8 month old baby constantly reaches for both the bao bao books and instantly calms down after I start singing or playing the lovely melodies. I’m so glad that it’s finally available for purchase! I highly recommend this book for non-native mandarin speakers as the songs really help you to learn and follow along. Although it’s a bit of an expensive purchase, it’s a great investment for any child’s introduction to mandarin chinese. Please make a third book in Cantonese !!

> 3 dayLet me tell you, my daughter LOVES music and this book has quickly become her favorite! She is 2.5 and loves that it has songs she already knows (and a few new ones) but it helps her connect with the songs even if they are in a language she doesn’t know. She sings some of the words of songs she’s always singing now in mandarin (or best she can mimic it), it’s the sweetest thing and really has me thinking she could pick up a language if I worked on it with her through songs and rhymes! I am loving it too because I can sing along (best I can) thanks to the phonetic spelling of each word! I may not get it all correct but it’s fun to try and I find myself thinking of the mandarin when I sing the English!

> 3 dayOr friends baby has this book and when my 18 month old heard it, he feel in love! They gifted him his own copies of these sing books and hes been timing to these songs everyday for a month now. He finds and pulls them of the shelf then claps and giggles when the music comes on :) The books are made well, perfect size for a little toddler, good sound quality, can turn off volume and adjust btwn low and high volume, easy to turn pages... added benefit of teaching me mandarin too (Im cantonese). Hoping for a cantonese version soon too! Thank you for these wonderful books!

> 3 dayGood Chinese learning book. My 19-month old loves it! Yet, just FYI, as a native Chinese speaker, the Chinese pronunciation for if is a bit off. Other than that, good buy!
