Greater than one weekThis book is awesome! My daughter is 18 months & she loves this book - there is a high & low volume — three western songs that most people know + 3 songs that are popular for kids in China ~ she recognizes the tune & dances to each song.

> 3 dayWe loved the first book so much that in my review of it, I wished for a sequel. Well, my (and my kids’) wish came true! Many other reviews cover the features in detail but the main appeal for both sets is that my kids can learn Chinese more easily without using the ipad/youtube and be distracted by other videos. I love the pinyin, since Mandarin is not my native language. We loved this so much that we even bought another set of both books for a close friend’s preschooler as a birthday gift.

> 3 dayWe recently purchased both books for my 3-year old. He can sit and listen to both books for 30 minutes or more. The buttons are easy for him to push and follow along. I agree with other reviews where it could simplify it more if the buttons werent more unique to the songs rather than the pandas. It is hard to find good mandarin educational materials appropriate for toddler and young kids, so Im thankful the author has created these and look forward to more!

> 3 dayAs an Asian American parent born in the US, Im always looking for ways to expose my child to mandarin Chinese since mine isnt the best and I still want her to be able to understand and speak the language. The songs catch her attention and are not annoyingly high pitched like some other electronic books. Im thankful it has the English, Pin Ying, and Chinese characters for the lyrics which also helps me make sure Im singing it correctly to her. The pages are thick like a board book and have held up well. We have both the books now and hoping she comes out with more!

10-06-2025These books (2 in the series) are darling! We love them so much. Great to sing along in Mandarin Chinese. The Pinyin makes it easy to learn the Mandarin lyrics. My only wish is that theres another switch to go between music only, English lyrics, and Mandarin lyrics. I know the point is to learn Mandarin, but the other options would be nice too. Hope there are more books to come!!

> 3 dayAs the parent of a 2 year old attending Mandarin immersion preschool, I was looking for tools to augment her language education. As a non-speaker, the pinyin translation is invaluable so that I can participate and reinforce. Peipei’s melodic voice has now become a morning tradition for my daughter and I.

> 3 dayLet me tell you, my daughter LOVES music and this book has quickly become her favorite! She is 2.5 and loves that it has songs she already knows (and a few new ones) but it helps her connect with the songs even if they are in a language she doesn’t know. She sings some of the words of songs she’s always singing now in mandarin (or best she can mimic it), it’s the sweetest thing and really has me thinking she could pick up a language if I worked on it with her through songs and rhymes! I am loving it too because I can sing along (best I can) thanks to the phonetic spelling of each word! I may not get it all correct but it’s fun to try and I find myself thinking of the mandarin when I sing the English!

> 3 dayWithin minutes of listening to this book, my 2 year old is hooked! Even though I’m an Asian myself and didn’t enjoy learning Mandarin since young. This book is definitely a lot more fun and easy to spark interest in learning. And I love how it fits in my front facing book display, because not every hardcover book can fit well.

> 3 daySo glad I bought this for my one year old! I was a little hesitant given the price but it was definitely worth it, as soon as my daughter opened it and pressed If your happy and you know it she started clapping along and dancing despite it being an entirely different language than shes used to. Will definitely be purchasing the other book. Great book for introducing mandarin.
