07-06-2025I bought Vol 1 and Vol 2 on this series, with Vol 2 arrived broken. Vol. 1 is not much better. This Pei Pei lady definitely is not a trained singer. In addition, my wife notice two of the songs are incorrectly with the Chinese, e.g. The two tiger song. I have already return Vol. 2.

> 3 dayMy 3 yr old twins absolutely love these books. Their aunt have gifted them the first and they always pointed to the back cover which had a second edition (which hadn’t come out yet.) so I had literally been waiting for the second edition to come out to get it for them. When I opened the box and showed it to them, the look on their faces was priceless. My son is the singer of the family loves to sing along with songs, and it’s actually helped me to learn the songs in Chinese. It’s also great because their grandparents recognize these songs from their childhood, so it’s something that has connected multiple generations of our family. Thank you Pei Pei, we absolutely love these books!

> 3 dayTotally worth the price! We have both books in the series and my kids love listening to the songs over and over. The buttons are easy enough to press that my 1 year old can do it on her own, and the songs are a good duration, not too long and not too short. I love that there’s a mix of popular English and Chinese songs. So now when my kids start to sing “I’m a Little Teapot” in English, we can sing it through once in English and once in Chinese. They love dancing to the “If You’re Happy and You Know It” song also. We mostly keep the books in the car and it’s kept them entertained for countless car rides.

> 3 dayThis is our second Bao Bao book and we love it! My 17 mo old son takes the first one with him for all naps, and uses it to self soothe when he wakes in the morning. The songs are sweet and calming, as are the illustrations. It has multiple volume settings and it’s not too noisy. We have no Chinese heritage ourselves but received this as a gift for general language exposure, which is something we’d love to cultivate, and this book is helping expose our son (and us!) to new language skills while also serving as a soothing audio companion for him. I’m already learning the words to the songs, as is my son! :) highly recommended and glad these books are available!

> 3 dayLet me tell you, my daughter LOVES music and this book has quickly become her favorite! She is 2.5 and loves that it has songs she already knows (and a few new ones) but it helps her connect with the songs even if they are in a language she doesn’t know. She sings some of the words of songs she’s always singing now in mandarin (or best she can mimic it), it’s the sweetest thing and really has me thinking she could pick up a language if I worked on it with her through songs and rhymes! I am loving it too because I can sing along (best I can) thanks to the phonetic spelling of each word! I may not get it all correct but it’s fun to try and I find myself thinking of the mandarin when I sing the English!

> 3 dayMy kids love it, more so for the music/songs, not so much about following the lyrics. The pace of the song is good for listening but if trying to learn the Chinese words/characters, the pace is too quick.
