> 24 hourThe first Bao Bao was my son’s favorite bedtime book for months when he was younger and now both he and his baby brother are already enjoying #2. We didn’t know any mandarin and found it really easy to sing along and learn the songs!

> 24 hourWe received this book for free in a promotion. My 4-year-old loves listening to the songs. The book is beautiful, with a sturdy board book construction, cute illustrations, lovely music and singing, and the lyrics in characters, pinyin, and English. A nice book to share with a child to learn some Chinese and enjoy some music.

> 24 hourSo glad I bought this for my one year old! I was a little hesitant given the price but it was definitely worth it, as soon as my daughter opened it and pressed If your happy and you know it she started clapping along and dancing despite it being an entirely different language than shes used to. Will definitely be purchasing the other book. Great book for introducing mandarin.

> 24 hourMy daughter LOVES these books!! She’s only 10 months old but the music is so nice that she likes to dance along. It’s super easy for me to follow along as well as the words are in English, pinyin and traditional Chinese writing ( I can’t read that but my husband can lol). We own the red version of this book too and that one is easier if you’re just starting off. This one is a bit more advanced it seems.

> 24 hourLet me tell you, my daughter LOVES music and this book has quickly become her favorite! She is 2.5 and loves that it has songs she already knows (and a few new ones) but it helps her connect with the songs even if they are in a language she doesn’t know. She sings some of the words of songs she’s always singing now in mandarin (or best she can mimic it), it’s the sweetest thing and really has me thinking she could pick up a language if I worked on it with her through songs and rhymes! I am loving it too because I can sing along (best I can) thanks to the phonetic spelling of each word! I may not get it all correct but it’s fun to try and I find myself thinking of the mandarin when I sing the English!
