Just like I reviewed the first book, the second book is as great as the first.

In truth my LO would have said LOVE the first book and like the second. LO plays the first book a lot more than the second. I enjoy the songs in both and listening to them helps me learn mandarin as well. We liked the first book and my LO would play it often. I jumped to get the second one as I needed more mandarin books in circulation. This book is great overall. Cute pictures, good music, and cute songs. The pages are thick for little hands to turn. Weve had the first one for about a year and this second one for maybe 6 months; still in great shape. I saw a review complaining about the length of the songs. Some are a bit lengthy though there are English songs just as long or longer. I also like that it is styled like the first book with the buttons and panda images. My only wish is that this book would have traditional chinese characters with phonetic as well. I want my LO to learn both.

One of my favorite things to gift is the gift of knowledge and imagination through books. Pei pei brought that love for books and learning into this fun singing book that ties in with my family culture with nursery rhymes I grew up with an Asian American. It really is one of a kind and I cant wait to share this book with other nieces and nephews in the future - and one day, kids of my own.

LOVE LOVE LOVE THESE! My only complaint is that there are only two books in the series. Our children love these books and love to sing along in chinese

We love the Bao Bao books. They are very well made. Excellent resource for learning Chinese.

We received this book as a drawing prize from the author. My kids love it. My 7 year old is a 1st grade mandarin immersion student and was very familiar with all of the songs. My other two kids (3 and 5) have not started their mandarin educations yet but they were familiar with the most of the music and after about 10 minutes of listening, my 3 year old started singing along...in Mandarin! Kids are sponges at these ages so any new language exposure is amazing!!!! We are so happy to add this book to our library.

This book is truly one of a kind! We have been looking for good bilingual books to teach our niece Mandarin for over a year, and the Bao Bao Learns Chinese series is by far our favorite! We loved the colorful illustrations, the melodic singing voice and the clear sound quality! Our niece reaches for this book when our family comes over and theyre so impressed with how quickly shes learning Mandarin phrases. Cannot recommend Bao Bao enough!

My sons, 1 year old and 2 years old, both loved our first Bao Bao book so much that when I stumbled upon this 2nd book accidentally, I did not hesitate to buy it at all! I quickly scanned the songs in the book, place it in my cart and purchased the book right away! We received the book yesterday and I had told my eldest that I had a surprise to show him after his bath before bedtime. Once I gave him the book, he smiled sooo much through each song. I told him that he can go through the book one time before bed, but he asked to read/sing it over and over. We love the natural singing voice in the songs, the simplicity of the book, the coordination of the push button with each page and the cute illustrations on each page. My family is not a Mandarin speaking family. I am a Teochew/Vietnamese mama who is learning Mandarin so I can teach my boys. I love that the book is simple enough that even I can understand and follow along after learning Mandarin on my own for about a year now. I highly recommend this book (and the 1st book-red cover) to any family who are of Mandarin speaking or of non-Mandarin speaking. I give both her books that we have the highest recommendations without reservation! You will not be disappointed!
