Brother MFC-J1010DW Wireless Color Inkjet All-in-One Printer with Mobile Device and Duplex Printing, Refresh Subscription and Amazon Dash Replenishment Ready

A bit disappointed. Only have temp ink. Cant find any high yield ink anywhere, not even on Brothers site. The black ink isnt sold in the combo/multi pack with color, therefore if you find any ink it will cost between $150-$170 to start. You could purchase standard tried and pay about $10-$17.99 per cartridge and pray the the seller/company has all 4 cartridges available.A noticeable amount of ink is used during setup. I only performed the basic setup since I had no Additional ink available. Print in nothing special so far. I expected more. It took a while to get the printer to acknowledge my devices for some reason; days of working with it. I can now print from my phone and computer. I need to install very specific apps, not just what I see in the play store. Looked for substitute ink on online list. This printer/ink not listed. Why? Wants to force you to subscribe to a subscription. No thank you! I dont want to for my own personal reasons! You must create a Brother account! I am considering returning, but not sure if things would be much better with others. Very frustrating! Nooo ink!!!! And when it will be available, will cost way more than the printer itself for the first purchase! Whats so special about this ink/printer?!!!

You cannot get ink. Once you use the little starter cartridges that comes with this printer, YOU’RE SCREWED!! Buyer beware!!!

Absolutely love this little wireless printer, its very handy to have here in our home office. Ive come to find I like Brother printers better than all the others, they last longer and are always easy to find ink for and the price point is awesome. This sets up quickly and is ready to go, Ive printed from my phone a few times and love that its a wireless printer, once you get one youll never go back. It prints at what I consider normal for an ink-jet but it doesnt seem to go through ink as quickly as my Canon did. Pages look nice and clear. You really cant beat this for the price, I definitely recommend it.

We got this Brother printer for my daughter to replace a printer she had not been able to install for the last couple of years. I tried to install it for three hours and noting I tried worked, hence the need for a new one. This Brother MFC-J1010DW unit installed in less than half an hour and has been working quite well since installed. I have had two Brother printers, one a multifunction model, for about 12 years and neither has ever failed. I am a big fan of Brother printers as they are relatively inexpensive, have good life in the ink cartridges, and print well enough for what I need them to print.

Ran out of ink within 2 weeks. Really disappointed.

I don’t do a lot of printing and didn’t want to spend a lot. This printer greatly exceeded my expectations! Good print quality. Fast. Compact size Nice sheet feeder. Inexpensive ink for occasional use. Everything I want and more. Highly recommend!

My cheap-o Canon was horrifically bad! But this printer, oh my word but it lays them all in the shade! Truly, a purchase you will not regret!

This is my family’s first printer for in-home use and I am not a techie *at all*. However, I found the setup of this printer very simple and straightforward. I used the “quick setup” pamphlet the company provided (there is also a longer manual included) and I had it up and running in less than half an hour. Have used it multiple times for printing and copying and it has worked perfectly. Buttons and the options/directions on the screen are easy to understand and follow. You do have to download the Brother printing app, but it’s no big deal and is free. I purchased more Ink cartridges off Amazon and they were relatively inexpensive. So far, I’m super happy and pleased with this printer. It has fit our needs perfectly and at a great and very reasonable price point.
