Greater than one weekDO NOT PURCHASE THIS PRINTER! THERE IS NO BLACK INK AVAILABLE AND BROTHER DOESNT SEEM TO HAVE A SOLUTION. I DO NOT UNDERSTAND WHY THEY WOULD STILL BE SELLING THIS PRODUCT!

> 3 dayYou think it is cheap and good deal, but the truth is that you will spend more money than what you spend with the author mfc printer that has aftermarket ink cartridges , in mfc-j1010dw you will br forced to use just the original lc401 and thats why its just for 99$

> 3 daySo Ive had this issue where consumer grade printers last a few months before spitting out so many errors I give up and start drawing forms in crayon. This bad boy hasnt given me so much as an out of paper unless its actually out of paper. No PC load letters either.

> 3 dayThis is my second Brother product. Each one has been super easy to aet up and uses less tone than most printers.

Greater than one weekFor the price I thought Id take a chance and it was well worth the price. The print is faster than what Ive used to. The scan isnt quick but it does a great job. Im just working to figure out how to use the auto feed on the scanner, but so far one at a time works great. Im very happy with this printer (and the print refills are reasonable)

> 3 dayTakes a while to print a page at times and wifi update nagger is annoying, otherwise works well with a nice app

> 3 dayLet’s start with what’s good so far. It’s fast and it’s all in one. The bad: clunky menu and the worst part as mentioned in the title is network availability. Once the printer goes to sleep, it can’t be accessed anymore until someone physically presses the button. I believe that Brother’s app is supposed to be able to work if you’re not in the same WiFi network. But what’s the use if you’ve gotta use it within one hour since it was last active. That’s ridiculous. The only good thing about the Canon printer I had was that it could be configured to be available on the network always. I had ranted about this to Brother’s tech support, telling them to incorporate that feature in the next firmware update. They just said they’ll think about it. FOOLS! The printer does have an Ethernet connection as well so at least if the printer had wake-on-lan would help.

> 3 dayThis is a great printer so far, comes with ink and the Ink last for at least a few months if you dont print that much, the color quality is really good. Easy to connect to home wifi, printer doesnt come with USB cable but I didnt needed one. I love that i can use my phone or tablet to print from anywhere in my house and it has a fax and scanner. This is a really good printer with a great price.
