> 3 dayGreat printer, multi function and has all the best bells and whistles. Includes the toners too. The best bang for buck printer out there. Are there better print quality available? Yes, if you get the greater brother printers available. For the value, it exceeded all my expectations. 10/10 great buy.

> 3 dayI ran through the ink cartridges that came with the device and the extra’s I ordered with the machine. I’ve been trying to find some for the last month gave up and joined their subscription and just so I can get some ink. Beware, this may be a regular problem with brothers Inc. I think they want to force you onto their subscription plan if I had realized it would be so difficult to buy ink. I would’ve stayed with HP like I always have, think long and hard and how much pruning you do and if you’re willing to put in a subscription plan before you buy..

> 3 dayI have been using for about 4 months now. Took my husband about an hour to hook up. Thank God for him. I cant attest to the WiFi usage as we do not use it but as far as printing and coping it is great. Paper jams are easy to fix. So far I am happy with this product. I had a brother before and when it wore out I went to a couple of other printers and came back to brother. I will not stray again.

> 3 dayYou think it is cheap and good deal, but the truth is that you will spend more money than what you spend with the author mfc printer that has aftermarket ink cartridges , in mfc-j1010dw you will br forced to use just the original lc401 and thats why its just for 99$

> 3 dayDo not buy this thing. The ink has been out of stock for 3 months. The company hasn’t put out a message for us consumers saying something along the lines of “hey we are working on it” they simply don’t care. Also if you try to install off-brand ink, the printer won’t accept it. Seriously do not buy this.

> 3 dayThis printer beeps every 15 seconds saying you need to enter a password to get a firmware update. Will it catch fire if no firmware update? How irritating. Then after Googling how to enter the password, it turns out the super secure password is printed on the back of the printer. The interface to enter the password is terrible. Press one wrong button and you start from scratch. Who thought this security scheme up?

Greater than one weekI have installed and used printers for 50 years...this is a piece of crap. Just changed internet service providers, it didnt find the router, so I attempted to add it manually being very careful, touch screen didnt work, using the directional arrows entered the SSID, it still didnt find it, it wanted me to move the printer near the router, which isnt convenient, everything was entered correctly, not sure on the warranty, but will check it out. Just ordered a new Canon. This printer went to sleep and I had problems waking it up, cant make a copy unless connected to a PC. VERY disappointed. Buyer beware!
