My experience compares with other five star reviewers. I did go one step further in that I wanted to see how the ink cartridges compare. I know they are filled by volumn, but I checked them by weight. The included Standard cartridges that were called start up cartridges, surprising enough, weighed in at 1.3 oz each for the color and 1.575 oz for the Black. The retail cartridges I purchased from Office Depot weighed in at 1.24 oz each for the color and 1.4 oz for the Black. After nearly three weeks of almost daily printing and copying, the ink level indicators are showing a little usage. I do print in light fonts which helps. There is a noise facter with the sheet feeder system, but one that is not objectional. Once set on quiet mode, it is hardley noticable, similar to other front load paper feeder systems. This is not a speed printer machine, so if speed is a criteria for you opt for a more expensive printer.

After 45 minutes of trying all the troubleshooting I gave up. It is a great printer for plain paper. When I tried to print shipping labels, forget it. Disappointed.

The printer is great but you can’t find black ink for it!

I have a Brother laser. It is still the best printer I have owned. The MFC- J1010DW not so much. Set up ok but the colors weren’t very clear. The reds were pink according to my wife. Had to send back. Amazon is great in getting this done.

Ink is super expensive, generics wont work

We love this printer! Wifi connectivity is great and most reliable printer we ever owned.

My work company bought this printer, we just need to double scan documents to our system, but it does not scan properly, everything has to be faced down to scan and second it does not double scan , also ink runs out pretty quick, had printer for less then 2 months and out of ink. But otherwise it’s a good printer, just not what we need it for, so we are stuck with this printer for right now

I am seriously impressed with this printer. I had a very small space in a side cabinet that I needed to fit a printer. This fit perfectly! It was easy to set up and quickly connect to WI-FI. I have been able to print from my phone and my computer with the touch of a button.

So I bought this printer hoping for the best. Seemed to be great until the black ink ran out, rather quickly. Now I cant find a replacement. Everyone says out of stock. Even the manufacturer doesnt have ink for their own printer. What a joke.
