Saved my life. This kit works very well. After seeing so many mechanics recommend this kit I am really glad I got it. Its even like half the price of some other brands too.

I have had a 2003 Ford Expedition sitting on my lot for year with a missing spark plug that blew out. Someone had tried a repair once before that left this thing dead, and unrepairable. This kit not only is oversized to compensate, but was smooth sailing while repairing. From start to finish it took less than an hour. Dont spend time and money for this fix. Just buy this case, and move on with your day!!!

The hose connection adapter, did not fit a standard hose for a normal sized air compressor hose. It’s a 1/8th connection and it took me all day and 7 stores to create a way to make it work. The included hose was also already split at the end, so I had to also cut it to fit over the connection. Plus buy a hose clamp and different adapter to keep the hose on. Everything I’ve researched stated to NOT use steel inserts and that’s what’s included in the kit, so I’ve order the stainless steel ones for an additional $39. Hopefully I’ll never have to do this again, but I guess I would be extra prepared now that I’ve had to purchase additional parts and supplies.

The Calvin tool worked very well. I tried 2 other repair kits and repair did not last. The spark plugs blowed out later. The aluminum heads should be made with steel inserts to start with.
