> 3 daySaved a ton of money by being able to buy this kit to fix my spark plug issue. Easy clear instructions came with the kit. Took me 45 mins to do the job. Showed it to my local mechanic and he went out and bought a case. Well worth the money.

> 3 dayI just used this kit on a 2005 Ford Crown Victoria P71 Police Interceptor. One plug on the passenger side had blown out previously and I used a Dorman kit to cheaply repair it. The dorman insert didnt last as long as I had hoped and it soon began to make the tell tale ticking noise of compression blowing by the threads. Any hoo.....Got the kit and the loctite 266. I took the fuel rail off to make more room. Long story short, the new threads went in without a hiccup. I picked up a USB endoscope and ran it down the plug chute and checked them, there were many more nice new threads than the 4 that Ford placed there. New insert and spark plug went in snugly. Note: Make sure you keep going till it bottoms out. I thought at one point dont strip these threads out or you are screwed.. and I actually stopped, scared I would rip them all out and I convinced myself (for a few minutes) that I had seated it properly. I took a step back and figured there was no way that I was gonna rip out all those threads with the torque my arm was giving it, so I kept going wondering the whole time how much a new head was gonna cost me. Then BAM, it stopped solid. Started the car the the purr of all 8 cylinders firing in line. I verified with my bluetooth OBDII reader, that there were no more misfires. Happy Days.

> 3 dayTook about 1hr on one plug. You definitely need an air ratchet and bore scope. Makes install a whole lot easier. Keeping kit in case another plug gets blown out.

> 3 dayAt around 100k miles our Ford E350 started popping out spark plugs. This kit worked great to repair the issue. The reamer or drill bit worked great, the tap was machined well and sharp. All 8 inserts had good threads. The hose fitting is still an issue as others have stated...I needed to modify mine so I could use it with my air hose....just some simple supplies from Oreilly. Instructions are good but not perfect. My kit had the e clip. (I bought some e clips just in case...5/8 I believe). Vans are a PITA to work on...but the CalVan kit was not a PITA. The retail price is stupid but the $230 or so I paid for this on the evil jungle website was worth it. You need: 1. a quality air or battery ratchet (I did a bunch of research and settled on a battery one from AC Delco, it was reasonably priced and has good torque). 2. JB weld (not the fast setting). 3. Red, heat resistant thread lock. 4. A long blow/air gun that can be bent to fit down into the cylinder to blow the shavings out. 5. A decent bore scope. I also bought a 3/4 by 16 TPI nut to verify that my inserts had good threads. Removing the fuel rail, heater hoses, emissions components, fan clutch etc. was more work than actually drilling, tapping and installing the inserts. I bought extra inserts when I ordered this kit in case any had bad threads. I FULLY expect that this is a permanent solution. I easily saved 2/3 if not 3/4 the cost of having inserts installed by a shop in all 8 plug wells...and I have some new tools to keep.

> 3 dayThis is a great set to have if you own a 4.6 truck. Saves you from having to pull the head to fix a poor design in Ford trucks.

> 3 dayThis kit was super easy to use. Cheaper to use this than go to a mechanic. Has been in since February with no issues would 100% recommend for anyone with the popcorn plug issue.
