Guys I had to grind down a flat side on the guide to get it to fit properly in the sparkplug well. Once I figure that out installation wasn’t an issue-2006-F150-2v 4.6V8 Repair was on the passenger side rear plug.

I have an old 1999 Ford F250 Super Duty that has served me well all the way up to its 209,000 mile odometer reading. Unfortunately, it blew out one of its spark plugs on the first start of the morning. Also unfortunately, this truck has the V-10 engine and it was good ole number 10 that blew out. I called the local dealer and they quoted me a price of between $750 and $2,000 to repair the engine. Being retired and on a fixed income, that was out of my price range. I watched some YouTube videos and decided that this kit looked best. I followed the instructions to the letter and had my truck fixed in just over 2 hours. This is about the best deal I have ever gotten. This kit is much more expensive on the Cal-Van website and other tool vendors sites. Now, I even have 7 more inserts left in the kit in case this should ever happen again.

I researched these various tools after having a plug blow out on my 2004 Lincoln Town Car. Extremely well made and great heavy duty inserts. Do it once and do it right! Dont be cheap on this and have to do the job over again.

Easy to use

Fixed my car but not easy to do

I installed inserts on all 10 cylinders, (I had to buy 2 more inserts sold separately) now my truck runs again. I did it in the driveway. Air compressor and a good ratchet is necessary. Once I fixed the first one, I just went in the firing order so I didnt have to turn the crank over to far. Very recommended
