Canon EF 50mm f/1.8 STM Lens

Great wee lens for the money. Bought this after looking at reviews and tech reports.

A must have for anyone looking to step up from their kit lens but on a budget Gives excellent potrait results.

My Canon 50mm is my favorite camera lens. It lives on my camera. It was my first portrait lens, ever sense I got it I have grown to love photography even more! Me being 14 and starting photography once I was 12. This lens has really helped me improve my photography and is pushing me towards my future/ dream. The focus is beautiful and clear and all the settings are in order. In all it is an amazing lens to start off with when you just got into photography!

Perfect lens for portrait shots. Aperture wide enough to handle decent low light settings.

I really enjoyed the ease of use! This lens gives great photos for the price and has more than paid for itself already. My work is in fine arts and most of the large exhibitions are still poorly lit, not an issue for this lens! It feels well constructed and it is not at all heavy so carrying it for hours is not an issue. The auto focus seems smooth and when tested at home it is quiet. I can see why its called The Nifty Fifty! The only reason I have not given this lens five stars is that I have not owned it long enough, time is where true quality shows itself.

they say its good lens but still trying to learn how to use it

Arrived totally broken. Amazon not willing to fix unless I sent back BROKEN GLASS or dig it out the trash to take a photo. Absolutely insane. Done with amazon.
