    Takes excellent photos with fixed perspective. Had to adjust to the lack of zoom, but once you get the hang of the lens it takes excellent photos.

    This is an awesome little lens for the money, with a wide fstop range it will take gorgeous portraits and macro images. Its a prime lens not a zoom so if thats important this wont work but for everything else I love it

    My first prime and its amazing. I just bought for low light video shots but its also amazing for photos. Images and videos are so clear. Only down point its a little bit low view angle because of crop sensor camera. It must be amazing with 28 or 35 mm 1.8 and also 1.4.

    This lens is very good for protraits but not that good for video if you have to move the camera a lot. The autofocus is slow and noisy. The images, however, are sharp and crisp.

    Works great for me! I use spot focus and some of the photos still turn out a little blurry due to the lens not focusing where its supposed to. Overall a great lens though.
