Canon EF 50mm f/1.8 STM Lens

This is only my 2nd REAL lens (lens purchased outside of the kit lenses) and I cant say that I love this lens as much as I do my 85mm 1.8, but its performance is SO much better than my kit lenses and, for the price.... WOW!!!

Love this lens! Definitely helps me as a beginner in photography! I love how it blurs out the background and gives very nice bokeh.

Its the best starter lens. Pictures come out stunning.

Solid piece of equipment. Better than other comparable camera lenses. Worth the money. I had an off brand 50mm before and it was crap. If you can afford it, always choose the name brand.

Noisy noisy lens, cant use for video at all! Maybe this is a knock off because it says made in Malaysia, isnt Canon made in Japan? I returned the lens.

The lens is very okayish. Not at all worthy of 109 euro. You can get such photos even from random phone portrait mode. Highly disappointed. I have used many lenses and I wont recommend this. I feel I wasted a lot of money on this. Was expecting something good.

Love this lens the only thing that I didn’t like was was the fixed focal length. Other then that I really liked It! This lens is great for up close pictures and really great for skin tones too, overall it makes up for the fixed focal length.
