    Best bang for your buck. If youre an entry level photographer looking to expand your collection, i HIGHLY recommend this lens. Its focusing is crisp, autofocus works fabulously, and it has great low light capabilities. Every photographer needs a nifty fifty in their bag.

    This lens is a great upgrade from the 18-55 kit lens. I bought this and the 24mm prime lens as upgrades from the kit lens and I am not disappointed. The build quality and picture quality are superb. I definitely recommend this and the 24mm lens for anyone who wants to upgrade from the kit lens.

    Je débute dans la photo mais je savais déjà que jaurais besoin de cet objectif qui me sert maintenant tout le temp jai abandonner les 2 autres , le seul default je ne sais pas si sest en est un , mais quand je le met sur lappareil a linverse des 2 autres objectifs ce nest pas facile dans le sens ou je dois forcer pour entendre le click.

    Oh my gosh I love this thing!!!!! It is so quiet. I have an old canon 50mm II lens and it is so loud when it focuses. This one is STM which stands for SILENT. It really it silent. I am so happy with how well it focuses and how quiet it is.
