Canon EF 50mm f/1.8 STM Lens

I’ve been a portrait photographer for 7 years now and still come back to this lens. It’s a staple. For the price it shoots so well! It’s a perfect grab and go lens.

Beautiful lens. Love this one for portraits. Still want the 1.4f 50mm lens but this is a wonderful alternative for a great price.

I love this lense. it makes all my videos just perfect, it gives this perfect dreamy feel from far, yet it is soooo sharp. I love you Canon.

I fully admit I have a love hate relationship with Canon’s flagship 50 1.2L. I’ve owned it for years, and it has taken some of my most favorite portraits. However, due to the back-focusing and the weight, I thought I’d try this entry 50 1.8 STM just to compare.
