> 24 hourI was hesitant to buy because of some of the reviews with Windows 10, but Ive not had any problems. The instructions say to make sure you have .NET Framework 2.0. Had 3.5 so no problem. You have to turn off the screen saver, which disrupts recording. When you edit videos to cut out sections, the Export function needs to replay whatever you are saving, so this can take some time. Converts to WMV or MPEG. Had a couple of VHS tables to failed the app when I tried MPEG, but they recorded as WMV just fine. Is a basic app, but it works just fine.

> 24 hourI use Roxio Easy media Creator and Adobe premier Elements 2019 and have been doing video editing for 20+ years (mostly for personal use with occasional work for friends). This device and its software is pretty good for its price. I only used it to capture VHS tapes in MPEG format to import into Adobe Premier Elements. I wish it had more options for capture format - it only captures in MPEG4 format. I also had to unplug the USB device and re-plug it occasionally to get it to be recognized. I am using a custom built PC running Windows 10 (MSI Mainboard with 8 GB DDR 3, 500 GB SSD with several additional storage ATA drives and a 3.4 GHz AMD Phenom CPU). Overall, it does what I need it to and should work well for anyone just wanting to capture RCA or S-Video analogue input.

> 24 hourReviewed a number of similar items with all having both very positive or very negative reviews. I choose this unit as the reviews said tech support was very good. I had issues getting started that were related to settings on my PC. I sent an email with the error messages to the email listed in the package and got an answer in 15 minutes with very clear directions. Once I followed the directions and was recording, I asked another question about which format was best to use to best quality of picture. I was answered within 5 minutes. Support is awesome and product works!

> 24 hourI recorded 6 vhs tapes and all seemed well but one of them was slightly to big. Also the picture while recording was tiny so I did a test to make sure my recording wasnt tiny and it looked good. I tried to edit the slightly over sized video to trim it to fit onto DVD, the built in editor was horrible and could not figure it out. So I tried to record again but now had no picture so tried on a different lap top no go so 3rd lap top and it worked well but video still to big so looking for another editor. Id look for something more expensive in future as this has turned into far more work and anger than I expected. But I will get something recorded out of it and nice to have digital copies as well

> 24 hourI had a few issues, on my own fault, and the support that I got was very quick and helpful ! Quite frankly, I was surprised at how good it was. The product itself did have a few black frames copied to the DVD while I could see it on the TV screen, but this was not much and overall I am very satisfied !

> 24 hourThe captured video is only as good as your VHS player. Hook up with S-video if you can. My oldest home videos look not so great, but they are almost 40 years old. The ones less then 10 years old turned out great.

> 24 hourInstall took three times, eventually I had to load the software down from their site. Worked well after that. Dont look for DVD quality from VHS tapes, especially older ones, its just not there. Its still a good way to save youy VHS tapes.
