i have a rev1, and now a rev3. the newer ones are slower by about 150mbps. i can easily push 950+ mbps on rev1, rev3 i can only get mid 700s

This product was as advertised, arrived promptly, easy to connect, and works amazingly well. I would highly recommend this product.

got 2, 1 of 2 DOA, quick replacement from amazon. One in service, other for special cases. Performance seems fine. While not ugly, its not attractive either and the case seems overly large for whats in it, yet still has external power supply, and is too light to actually hold the weight of more than a couple of cables.

I have a few 8-port and 5-port switches of this make and model as part of my home network. A couple of them are tied to Apple Airport Extremes operating in wireless bridged mode to offer more wired ports for connected devices, handling all the traffic brilliantly. The upward facing connection/activity lights are particularly convenient for eliminating more lights blinking forward into a dark room at night. Small footprint and economic power management are big bonuses as well. Ive used the previous generation of these same switches and you really cannot go wrong. Reliable, quiet, efficient and easy to conceal.

This is by far the best switch I have ever used. Many of the other brand name switches that I have used seem to lose communication with individual devices or the router after a power outage, but I have literally never had that happen with this switch. I do not have any gigabit devices connected, but the speed has been consistently high enough to take full advantage of our 100Mbps internet speed, and streaming 1080P HD video through this switch had never been an issue. Great size, good price, and consistent dependability. What more could you want in a switch?

I had a 10/100 switch that was dropping packets so my .mp4 files would not play correctly. Upgraded to this and all is well! 5 Stars!

Does its job, currently connected to an AirPort Extreme and serving a 200MB internet connection, works flawlessly and transfer speeds do not seem to suffer.
