I got this TV mount to hang a Samsung 75 QLED TV on the wall. I was really excited reading all the success stories about getting this mounted and the tales of awesome playful interactions with the vendor. Their email messages were also confidence inspiring.... All that deflated when the actual time to install the mount came and I realized what a huge mistake was getting this thing instead of the bigger brand model sold at your favorite local warehouse. First lets do the positives: the mount is well built, metal is thick and sturdy, it will hold the TV just fine. There is no need to assemble anything and the stud screws are solid as well. Now the not so happy stuff: 1) The included VESA screws are not sufficient for mounting current generation Samsung QLED TVs - the short screws are too short and the long screws are too long (or require really big spacers which Samsung does not recommend). I was in luck that my installer had a full complement of screw lengths and could come up with a medium length size in between the too-short and too-long sets provided by Echogear. 2) The mount only gives you about 5 inches of horizontal centering ability so in my case I had to end up not being able to center the TV properly. With 18 spaced studs and the studs not properly centered on the nooks wall, the large flat screen ended up ~4inches off center to the left. Enough to be really annoying. Again, the similar product sold by the large national warehouse company has proper support for centering the bracket hold and would have worked a lot better. 3) Most annoying - the tilt adjustments and screws are junk. If you want the TV to hold the tilt you have to tighten a metal-on-metal, no washer, no counterlock screw, but the screw does not hold, apart from being really hard to tighten. It feels like I am about to bend the small twisting rod they provide to tighten the tilt screw, and I am still not able to get a proper lock dont ever move again adjustment. 4) Repeat the same annoyance with the screw-on-metal, no locking mechanism this employs for the very limited horizontal leveling. Long term this is not as rage inducing because the TV is mostly balanced, unlike the tilt forward adjustment. 5) Finally, cable management. Its lacking and that sucks. There is very limited space so any cable you end up feeding around the arms will get in the way of the mount completely closing or in the way of some other movement. In conclusion there are just too many reasons to regret my purchase that I cant get over. As I mentioned, the mount at least is solid and holds the TV, but lack or proper screws for current model Samsung TVs, lame tilt mechanism adjustments, lack of ability to proper center the TV on imperfect studs are very annoying design shortcomings. Please SKIP this one and get the saner alternative.

This is amazing. I included several pics so you could see how flat the tv sits against the wall when we are not using it, how far out it extends (and its very stable), and how much of an angle you can use when watching from the side. Its also easy to move in and out. Honestly worth every penny! We even put our DISH joey behind the tv.

This mount is amazing! I put it in an opening that could I not hold a 50 inch TV, and due to how it expands out away from wall 22 inches I was able to mount a 65 inch TV o er a 50 inch hole! It is strong and well made! I highly recommend this mount! You wo t be disappointed! It is not lightweight, but keep in mind that it has to be heave to hold a heavy TV!

This thing is HEAVY. Holy cow. You will need an assistant to hold this guy on the wall while you drill into your STUDS. Do not even think about using drywall screws or whatever. I accidentally kicked one of the edges on this and bruised my foot while we had it on the floor :( Spent a good amount of time with the instructions and trying to make sense of them. I feel for companies making these wall mounts to fit most any tv. I had to add some additional spacers I found lying around my house to get the perfect mount for my TV. I had a rubber grommet kit lying around that did the trick for me, but I would imagine 70% of you should be okay. Consider getting the installation option via amazon if you aren’t particularly handy in this sort of thing. My partner and I spent probably 2-3 hours and they aren’t a particularly strong person, so it was very nerve racking and exasperating. If you fight about ikea furniture building, this is likely not for you. Consider as well you have to reasonably center your wall mount for optimum height and couch view-ability. There’s really a lot of factors involved with wall mounting a television, and it can be terrifying. Measure thrice, mount once. Don’t even get me started on making sure it’s level. No one wants a permanently cock-eyed television As far as how the mount functions once on the wall, it’s like butter! I invested in a 75 inch Samsung and this guy holds it easily. I can move the television with my pinky Left or right. It pulls forward and moves back easily for quick access to ports on the backside. Great mount. Would buy again, but I have no need for another wall mount. Installation is moderately difficult, but a handy person should be okay. I think I was a few beers deep and I still figured it out.

Great tv mount compared with others in the same TV size/weight category BUT as some other reviewers have mentioned the tilt mechanism is just not strong enough if youve got a TV weighing over 70lbs. My TV weighs in at 82lbs so well below the 125lb weight limit. Mounting the unit to the wall was easy enough with the wall template and instructions provided. Hanging the TV onto the mount and tightening and locking all the screws into place was going great UNTIL I got to the tilt mechanism lever and the tilt hold screw on the opposite side. Thought I had it tight enough and when I let go of the tv it suddenly slide forward scaring the ¢*@p out of me! Luckily I still had a support hand on the top of the TV so it didnt slide down hard. Pushed it back to the straight position and REALLY cranked down on the tilt lever. Seemed to hold but I when I checked it a couple days later I noticed that it had slid a few mms forward again. I didnt want to use a wrench to tighten the tilt lever so much that it stripped the screws like what happened to another reviewer. So my solution was to use the 4 M6 screws that I didnt use (the M8 wont fit in the slot) Get some M6 wingnuts from the hardware store and use those to block the slots and give me peace of mind from any sudden failure of the tilt lever. (See photos) Its been about a week now and so far my 0.60¢ solution seems to be working. If it wasnt for the tilt mechanism issue this would be a 5 star product.

The mount is very well made. Sturdy, flexible, durable. I bought one for all the bedrooms in my house. Highly recommend.

Easy to install. Had it all set for the delivery of my 85 inch tv. The delivery included setting up the the tv with the tv stand that it comes with but I was able to convince them to install the two brackets that attach to the tv and lift the tv onto the wall mount. I got a Samsung neo and used the smallest M8 screws with the smallest spacers and worked well. Looks like it’s floating in air. Remember you need a stud finder and then use a small screwdriver or pick (mini awl) to make sure you located the center of the stud. All those details are in the instructions. Great videos online if needed. Videos are part of product description. Very happy with the purchase. Also very happy with my new 85 inch NEO Samsung.

The TV installer guy they sent to hang up my new TV using this mount was talking to me about whether or not the mount will hold. He opened up the mounting hardware and the first thing he said was nice, you got one of the good ones -- this guy mounts tvs for a living so i think thats good enough review for you.
