Great instructions. Comes with template and assorted screws bolts and spacers to fit any tv/sound bar combinations. I’m going to love the tv over my mantle this Christmas

Instructions are super easy. The design allows for all sorts of freedom when trying to place the TV in a very specific place (like the dead center of the room, even though your studs might be off by a bit). Instructions were easy and fun. The template made drilling a confident endeavour. PRO TIP: Its super helpful to map out where you want your mount and TV by outlining them on the wall in blue painters tape. We were able to perfectly mount ours this way. The ability to adjust rotational tilt is HUGE and such a relief. With larger TVs it only takes a being off a millimeter for you to see it. Now its a non-issue.

Very well built and smooth operation with the TV mounted. One issue I had with my installation - I only had one 2x6 stud near the center where I wanted to mount the TV, and even that one did not line up with the mounting holes in the frame of the EchoGear mount. I solved this problem by using a piece of 19mm Baltic Birch plywood that spanned the wall where two studs were present, and cut out the section where the power port was placed on the wall. Then drilled and placed 6 T-nuts on the back of the board for mounting the EchoGear. I then used 5 lag screws to mount the board to the wall, with a recess in the plywood for a center lag screw. Result was both the TV mount and the plywood were flush to the wall, with room for the power and connecting cords to freely emerge. Worked out perfectly!

This is the most complete product I’ve ever ordered. Every TV I have ever ordered has come with mounting screws for a wall mount. This product includes more of those in every length and size available. Negative reviews are coming from lack of know how on installation and not the product itself. Please disregard those and read this one. There is truly nothing but tools needed to install this. It comes with everything you could possibly need to install this mount in any way into any material. This is the only product I have read the entire installation manual because it’s hilarious. Some installs can be frustrating with a lack of technical knowledge. This one will keep you laughing the whole time. Plus they are easy to reach if anything goes wrong. Please don’t go to Wally World and buy the $25 mount to hang your 85” 80lb TV. Spend the extra money and buy this one to ensure you don’t come home from the grocery store with all the game day foods to find your TV on the floor along with the cheap trash mount you bought. Outstanding product complete with everything you could possibly need. I assure you will get what you pay for.

I installed the wall mount bracket today. I was installing it for a 75 LG 4K TV, so I knew I needed something that could handle the weight of the TV as well as be flexible and easy in adjusting it to the best viewing angle possible. The Echogear came through very well. There is only one thing that I noticed was difficult, and that was the locking down of the screen angle. I could easily adjust it and set it just like I wanted, then when I pushed the TV back toward the wall, the angle dipped all the way down. I tightened all the allen screws as tight as I could and the hand tightener also, but couldnt keep the TV from drifting all the way down. What I will be doing is to insert a bolt into the guides of the adjustment and once I set it where I want it, Ill tighten the bolts down so the TV will have no where to go. This is very minor but wanted to leave the best feedback I could so Echogear can continue to improve on their outstanding products. I can really appreciate a company that puts out great products like this...stand disclaimer: I bought this with my own money from Amazon and have no affiliation with the company, and neither do any of my family memebers...in case you were interested...LOL!

I am mounting a new 50 TV with all the bells and whistles - the system is super strong, heavily constructed, and allows tilting and rotating. Most of all, the parts are especially well organized and labeled, and the instruction book is the best I have ever seen - The unit is heavy because it need to be - so I recommend help with the stage of screwing it to the wall, and finally hanging a large TV on it. I am 110 percent satisfied!!!

Even with Prime, I received this item in one day. Installation was very straightforward and easy for anyone with minimal mechanical skills. Instructions were easy to read if needed, and the packaging is very professional with all the necessary bolts and washers. I used the EchoGear heavy duty bracket to mount a 65 inch, 70 pound UHD 4K on a brick fireplace in the family room, replacing a generic lighter duty mount that formerly held a 50 inch television. I ordered the concrete mounting kit (separate item for 10 bucks) that includes bolts and fisher plastic anchors, but decided on install day to use Redhead 1/4 inch by 2.5 inch anchor bolts. I went with six (two extra for insurance). I am sure the fisher anchors would have worked fine, but I was concerned about heating up the anchors when using the fireplace so opted to use the Redheads for that reason. Unlike the previous mount that had a single swing arm, I appreciate that the Echogear version has a double scissor style, allowing for straightforward centering of the television when extending or retracting. Action on the mount is smooth. Mounting the television was pretty easy as well, and the drop on bar design is very forgiving to attach, and offers the installer several inches of horizontal adjustment as desired to get the unit perfectly centered in the space to prevent the wife from complaining. I realize that I am not maxing out the unit with a 70 pound television, but I am confident that the unit will support the rated weight of 120 pounds based on the sturdiness and heft of the bracket. Note - There is no vertical adjustment available once mounted, and the bracket provided was maxed on the VESA mounts for the television I installed (Vizio P-Series 65 Inch), so measure your space to understand where the wall bracket aligns with the television once attached. This is easy enough to do by mounting the television bracket, laying the wall mount into position on the television while on the ground, then taking a top of and bottom measurement (the two may not be the same, and was not for the Vizio unit) of the TV to the wall bracket mounting holes. If you do this, you will not install the bracket too high or too low. I am happy with this purchase.

This is a really good mount. I installed it for an 85 inch TV weighing about 100 pounds. The installation was really easy. The mount allows me to pull the TV out and away from the wall to get to the various connections, such as power, HDMI, etc. Highly recommend this mount,

    a) A nice heavy wall bracket, with a good width to enable lateral positioning adjustments on the wall, Echogear put the weight in the panel on the wall, and dropped the weight, or metal gauge, on the panel which the TV mounts too. Thats good, because it reduces the weight at the end of the arms. b) its a scissors type bracket, which is the best for heavy TVs and ensures that the TV stays level at any position, unlike the double to single arm that swings out to a single arm attached to the TV. Scissors is best. c) I like the tilt adjustment with a lever that allows tool-less adjustments. Nice job. d) They did not include adapters for my curved back Samsung, to fit the flat vertical hanging bars. Thats a minus for me, but Samsung anticipated that deficiency, and included 4 extensions with the TV which compensate, and give a flat back mounting profile. e) Nice length away from the wall. Better than most, and for a big TV it allows the viewer enough rotation to catch the far left or far right of a wide room. I like it. f) Currently one of my favorite TV mounts for bigger televisions. Summary: We have 9 different televisions for office, garage, business locations, and they range from 28 to several 49 Flat screen TVs, that date from the very heavy ones, circa 2007, to several current, and very thin televisions. Weve bought scissors type wall mounts, and ceiling mounts through the years, and I like many mounts, among this generation of manual adjustment mounts. We have some mounts that are heavier steel, than Echogear, and theyre all good ones. This Echogear is growing on me, due to its combination heavier materials against the wall, and lighter materials that move with the TV. I prefer a lighter mass in the parts of the bracket that move, with the newer thinner TVs. The older heavier Vizio TVs with a heavy steel frame are more rigid, and wont be as fragile, and are fine with a same gauge, heavy gauge, wall mount in all parts of the components.. Time will tell about this Echogear mount. There are lots of good TV mounts at this price point, and within $30 plus or minus, and this may be the one for you, but just be advised there are other equally good options, and this is not a one size fits all solution. Yes, I give it a buy it recommendation, especially with your very thin entry, or mid-range (price) flatscreen TV. If you are buying a very high-end TV, youre in a different price point, and looking for motorized, and retractible mounts.
