> 3 dayNice but the tilt forward seems to keep doing it itself. I had to twist it on pretty tight for the tv to stop tilting forward. Other then that its a nice tv mount

> 3 dayAdded photo of Media center I’m building for my house. I put this TV mount for a new 75” I got on Black Friday. The mount itself seems pretty heavy duty. I’m probably 150lbs and I felt I could easily hang off of it before I installed the TV. Some niggling issues with this mount though. There weren’t enough plastic spacers for curved tv backs. The thick spacers were too thick and there weren’t enough thin ones. I had to cut the thick spacer on a table saw. Yeah, cutting a 1 inch plastic spacer in a table saw is NOT anything I would recommend anyone do. Got hit with one flying plastic spacer in my forehead. The problem would have easily been solved by including double the number of thin spacers. The thick spacers were just of no use to me. Secondly, the leveling mechanism on the mount just plain sucks. The leveling is held by friction alone and you have to tighten two screws while trying to keep the huge tv level. Problem is every time you tighten the screws, it goes unlevel do to the screw ratcheting the tv out of level. And the tiniest bump on the tv even after you have it level will unlevel it again, because duh - tiny screws trying to hold the huge tv with metal to metal friction— not so smart. It really needs to be rethought or just completely removed. I would’ve preferred it didn’t even exist. It probably can level but as soon as I put the massive tv on it, it went askew. Trying to get it level again took longer than anything else. The kicker is, yeah, I built the whole media center by hand in my garage, so you can see, I’m not too shabby with being handy. My point being, I installed the mount level already- why have a level adjustment at all that barely works and weakens the mount structure at all. Thirdly, the tilt mechanism should be on a ratchet or gears. It need some kind of locks or maybe even holes in an 2-3 degree incremental angles where you can just stick a metal rod to lock it in place.... because, AGAIN, the tilt mechanism is Friction-based. And it’s not even good friction. If you get this mount, you’ll immediately see what I mean. It really wasn’t designed well. Again, no matter how tight you have the screw, a slight bump on your tv will make it tilt forward. I’m sure this will be the first point of failure for this mount after extended use. As you can see other people who’ve rated the mount low also had problems with the tilt just stop working. The friction just isn’t enough to hold the massive tv in place. The mount is super heavy otherwise and seems pretty good. This is the first tv mount I installed, so, I can’t compare, but the shear weight seems much heavier than other mount sold on Amazon. I just wish the leveling mechanism and the tilt were more robustly designed. They really should not be friction based and held by a couple tiny screws at that. Oh, and lastly, I didn’t find the manual very funny. I’d rather they had included relevant info., like dimensions of the mount instead of trying to be funny. I didn’t appreciate having to pull out a tape measure to measure the distances between the bracket and the hanging hooks, etc., like it was approximately 5 inches from top screw hole to the hook. Why did I have to measure that when they could’ve included that in the manual and saved me the trouble? Instead, I had to wade through corny jokes to see if that info was in the instructions. Was not. Not knocking this product. It worked well enough. Just, it annoys me when a product otherwise well designed has niggling faults that I’m sure the manufacturer must realize themselves and never bothered to redesign. I don’t know how long the tilt mechanism or the leveling mechanism will last. This is sad to think when the rest of the mount seems so heavy duty.

> 3 dayAfter reading all the reviews and getting this in I totally agree it is a solid mount. I weigh 250lbs and on every mount I install I do a quick pull-up to make sure all is secure. No problems holding my weight for a quick test. I have mounted over 200+ 75” displays and this is now my favorite scissor mount. You pay a little more than some others but the quality is there. The only mod I had to do was grab a bolt and nut from the local hardware store for the tilt. The tv I mounted came in at 76lbs and the mount couldn’t keep it tilted up. Again this is not a deal breaker and like all the other reviews was able to correct this with a long bolt. I look forward to ordering this mount now through my venders for future jobs.

> 3 dayThis mount is amazing! I put it in an opening that could I not hold a 50 inch TV, and due to how it expands out away from wall 22 inches I was able to mount a 65 inch TV o er a 50 inch hole! It is strong and well made! I highly recommend this mount! You wo t be disappointed! It is not lightweight, but keep in mind that it has to be heave to hold a heavy TV!

> 3 dayI used one of these in the living room for an 80 TV above the fireplace, and when we needed one for the 65 in the bedroom, went with the same model. Its incredibly easy to install, works like a charm, and comes at a good price for such a reliable and sturdy piece of equipment.

> 3 dayReplaced a regular bars-and-hang mounts with these scissors mounts for two flat screens. Did the full install myself because the directions were crystal clear and literally, every piece of hard you need is in the box. You will need (or want), an electric drill, stud finder, bits, ratchet set, level (you can use an iPhone), and tape measure. That and 45 minutes and --youll have your flat screen up and on the wall. The ability to pull it out and get to cabling behind it makes an entire bunch of things easier any given day. And the range of the tilt and pull even makes my wife happy lol.
