> 3 dayI’m really happy that I purchased this mount and not another one. This is quality. The metal is really nice quality. It comes with a ton of screws for you to choose from as you need. Also, most importantly, the extension and motion is amazing. It extends really far out. And it is full motion! You do need to level everything, but that’s a huge plus that everything can be leveled unlike other mounts. So you are for sure going to end up with a level tv. That is probably the best thing about this. Now about installation... it’s pretty easy. The hardest thing is finding the wood studs behind the walls, but that has nothing to do with the mount. My studs were not spaced at the normal 16 inches, but at like 21 inches, so this mount was perfect for that! So thankful for this mount! After you find the studs with a stud finder, and using knocking to make sure, and drilling a tiny hole to feel that there is wood there, then you drill... then remove the paper guide... then put the mount on and tighten the bolts that it comes with! Then level everything! Put the tv on. Level some more! And you’re done. So happy! It looks so nice now on the wall, and I can adjust it to where I am sitting in the room. I couldn’t adjust it when it was on a stand, but now I can! Best Mount Ever!

> 3 dayThis is the most complete product I’ve ever ordered. Every TV I have ever ordered has come with mounting screws for a wall mount. This product includes more of those in every length and size available. Negative reviews are coming from lack of know how on installation and not the product itself. Please disregard those and read this one. There is truly nothing but tools needed to install this. It comes with everything you could possibly need to install this mount in any way into any material. This is the only product I have read the entire installation manual because it’s hilarious. Some installs can be frustrating with a lack of technical knowledge. This one will keep you laughing the whole time. Plus they are easy to reach if anything goes wrong. Please don’t go to Wally World and buy the $25 mount to hang your 85” 80lb TV. Spend the extra money and buy this one to ensure you don’t come home from the grocery store with all the game day foods to find your TV on the floor along with the cheap trash mount you bought. Outstanding product complete with everything you could possibly need. I assure you will get what you pay for.

> 3 dayThis is a well made, solid piece of engineering. Excellent fit and finish. Great range of motion. Attractive, in an industrial way. You need to have some mechanical skills and some experience using them before you start installing. This is not a good first-time home improvement project, so keep that in mind! Oh, and make sure you have a buddy to assist with the lifting when you do the install. The instructions were adequate. I would have liked a little more detail in positioning the unit. For example, I wanted the bottom of the mounted TV to be 6 above my mantel. There was no advice on where to put the template on the wall to accomplish a task like that. I solved problem by test assembling the TV with the mount on the floor so I could take some measurements. As someone who is able to use a wrench, a measuring tape, and a portable drill, I was very happy with the mount.

03-04-2025Overall 3.5 stars but Ill round up. Does not tilt up beyond 90 degrees. Usually would not be a problem but hang a 100 lbs tv and the mount sags resulting in the tv being tilted downward no matter what (mount had some slop that doesnt help). Also, tilt tends to slip overtime requiring it to need to readjusted. This thing is built like a tank and heavy.

> 3 dayThe engineering on this is what other articulating mounts try to achieve and fall short. Its simple and obvious. The instructions are outright hilarious, too. I have 6 people in my hous, and every one of them has a TV mounted on the wall, so Ive bought and installed a few :) I bought this to mount a flat screen in the built-in entertainment cubby that was designed for an old-style CRT TV (as thats what was popular in 2001). The cubby was 16 in depth, and I have some stuff, like power strips and Cable box and home automation gateway stored behind the flat-screen. This mount allows me to put the TV flush with the wall, or inset it a bit. More important, I can pull the TV out, swivel it, and access the equipment behind, without lifting the TV and banging up the wall, which is what Ive done the last 5 years. Tip: They say measure twice, drill once, or something like that. I measured about 6 times, including with the template and finally with the wall mount, and got it perfect :) Pros: Excellent engineering. Humorous instructions. They include a precut template for positioning the wall mount - this thing has the holes matching the wall mount already cut out for you, so you can mark up your wall. Heavy duty - emphasis on heavy - this thing is a beast. Includes minor tilt adjustment in case you dont get the wall mount perfectly level (or the builder didnt make the cubby square or your laser level bubble isnt plumb). Cons: They include a free gift - a hex wrench that doesnt fit any of the bolts. LOL. Its also heavy.

Greater than one weekThis is a very simple to install and well designed mount so all I am going to cover is the tilt mechanism. As others have said, it is junk. If you are going to mount your tv high, then just let it tilt to the max which is about 7-8 degrees I think. Any adjustment between that and full up vertical is going to be minimal and I will explain. After reading about the problems with the tilt, and knowing since I am mounting my tv low (the bottom at table height 20 ) that I didnt want any tilt, before I even mounted the bracket to the wall I tightened the tilt mechanism in the full upright position. I have been blue collar for almost 40 years and have very strong forearms and hands, it wasnt enough. When I hung the tv on the mount it leaned forward. Dang, are you kidding me, I read it was bad but if I couldnt get it tight without a cheater it really needs to be re-designed. The gears in my head started turning to come up with a workable solution as I have had to do in the construction trade many times. I happen to have a small steel rod that fit into the tilt slot, see picture, you will have to find something similar if you want your tv to stay upright. I will add that my tv is a 75 that weighs 75lbs. so this might not be necessary if you are hanging a smaller tv, but I wouldnt count on it. Then I tightened the left side, (has a vice handle type of sliding rod that you cant see in the picture) with a small wrench, inserting the small rod through the closed end of the wrench to use as a cheater bar for more leverage and then be able to tighten more than hand tight. Second, on the right side I tightened with an allen wrench, see picture. Take note as you tighten this side it will want to lean forward as you do so, so having a second set of hands to hold the tv in position while being tightened will help. I used the wrench on the the allen wrench also for more leverage. Now that it is as tight as it will ever be without breaking it beyond use, it did break off one of the little thingys that keep the rod from sliding out of the tightening mechanism, that is why the rod is not in the picture. I then tapped two nickels into the gap between the steel rod I inserted and the back of the tilt mechanism. Thats it, it is now locked in and will never slide out of full upright vertical. If you wanted just a little bit of tilt you could go with just the rod and only one nickle or no nickels, that would give you two positions other than full tilt.
