This mount is heavy duty and my 75” Samsung looks great on it! The materials are very heavy, and the mount is well made. The only complaint I had was installation versatility. The mount is setup to be versatile for most installations, but based on where I wanted to install this bad boy, I wasn’t able to hit two studs (16” on center). One side of the mount was going to miss. I was either forced to change my location, create a plywood plate to mount to or shift the tv a bit off center on the mounting bars. I chose the latter as I was able to hit both studs and shift the tv a bit off center on the mount. Since this mount swivels, this causes the weight of the tv to be off and can cause the tv to move. I was able to get the everything tight in the back and the problem has been solved, but I found it would have been helpful if this mount was about 2 inches wider or so. I have run into this in the past with some fixed mounts and was able to get the job done the same way, but with fixed mounts you don’t have to worry about the tv twisting on you. Also be prepared to do a little fiddling to get the mount adjusted so the tv is level. Anyway, I am happy with the quality of this mount and would recommend this if you want your tv to be moveable. Once your tv is on the mount you can let go with confidence, it isn’t going anywhere.

This was easy to install. All you need is to locate your studs and use the template to drill the holes. Easy as that.

TLDR; This mount was perfect for our 75 Vizio P-Series. It will take two people to install, unless you like to live dangerously and youre borderline, clinically insane. 5/5. Would buy again and would recommend to anyone needing to mount a large TV. This mount is intense. Really heavy, but in the best way. It doesnt feel cheap and the weight seems fitting for a large TV mount. For installation youll need a drill with a 7/16 drill bit for your pilot hole for the lag screws. I used a stud finder as well to help me sleep at night. You should know, this is really a two person job. The mount is just heavy and cumbersome enough that is was difficult to get the lag screws in while holding up the mount. Even with my wife helping this was tough. Overall though, installation was very simple. Theres an excellent template for your pilot holes into your studs (or concrete/whatever youre mounting to) that you just tape level to the wall, drill your pilot holes, use the lag screws to secure the mount to the wall, install the end caps, the hang the TV. Pretty straightforward. We did have a slight freak out moment when the TV tilted down automatically because of its weight and the tension in the tilting mechanism wasnt high enough. If you have issues with tilting, make sure you use the included Allen wrench to adjust the nut side of the up/down tension axis (there is an adjuster rod as well, but we had to tighten both side very hard). This is a great mount. If the TV falls off the wall now its because its ripped half of our house down. Well done Echogear. Great product.

Were about 2 weeks in to our install and everything is holding up great! We have a HUGE 83 OLED hanging above the fireplace. This mount is very sturdy and hasnt given up an inch! The install was pretty simple and straightforward. If I had to select a con, it would be that sometimes when you position the TV, it moves pretty swiftly where your cheeks pucker a bit because you think the whole TV is falling. I believe there is a screw in the back that tightens this feature up some, but with the TV hung its kind of difficult to access. All in all, it is definitely worth the price.

Before I bought it I watched a video on Amazon on how to mount it and knew it would be easy. I mounted a 75 in tv with my brothers help (basically he did it lol). I read instructions while he did the majority of things, but anyway it was super easy. You will need a beam finder and level, if you dont have one you might want order one when you order the mount. There is a template included so you can see where you need the beams to be located. My brother had a magnetic level so, after marking the beam, we held the mount up to the wall until it was level and he drilled the screw right in place. We had already put the pieces on the TV so then we picked it up, put it on the mount, and screwed the little slab that holds it tightly in place. It is on there so well. For a moment I was afraid it would be to big, but it is perfect! Will add a photo later. Update: Added photos, also want to say the range of motion is nice. I usually turn it in the evening to avoid the sun and because of where I am sitting and it does that with no problem. It also tilts forward but I have not needed to do that so have not used this function. I was nervous to pull it out think the TV would be to heavy but it holds up just great. Anyway hopes this helps you determine which mount to choose.

I bought this to support the LG C2 77. No regrets. I had another mount that was cheaper. I decided with the amount that I put towards the TV I should also think about the mount as well. This thing was amazing. Installed it with 3 of my brothers and they all agreed it was amazing. Simple install and all the appropriate hardware to get it done. No trips to the store for other parts and easy videos to remind you that you are doing it right along the way. Great motion, amazing tilting options with TV on the mount, and handles big TVs with ease.

This is a really solid TV mount with great features. I only wish I had both it and my TV in hand before I had to place my electrical box in the wall during construction. The combination of TV mounting points and available mounting holes in the rails forced me to put this much lower on my wall than I wanted. So far though that hasn’t been an issue and my 65” Sony TV is still right where I wanted it. Just something to consider if you are working on new space / blank wall, put the TV mount up first, then use an old work box to place your outlet and chase the wires down to the floor.

Anyone having installation issues with this bracket might be suffering from a bit of user error. Ive hung dozens of various size screens before, but my new 85 QLED has been the largest and weighs in just under 100lbs. The bracket is quite solid and easy to mount as any. Make sure you are mounting it to a solid structural surface. I did not use the included fasteners. Ive been using FastenMaster HeadLok screws for mounting to wood studs, which are rated stronger than 3/8 lag screws. Once mounted I gave it the test. Put the bracket at full extension and proceeded to do pull-ups hanging from the end of the bracket. It supported my 240lb self and had maybe 3/16 of sag. After doing this a few times I was totally confident it would support the 100lb $3500+ screen. The brackets extends out far enough to give plenty of room to hook up cables, and retracts super close to the wall. Its a little difficult to maneuver by hand, but I blame that on the TV, as the screen is so wide I cant grab both sides at the same time. Would purchase again without hesitation if the need arises.

This thing is HEAVY. Holy cow. You will need an assistant to hold this guy on the wall while you drill into your STUDS. Do not even think about using drywall screws or whatever. I accidentally kicked one of the edges on this and bruised my foot while we had it on the floor :( Spent a good amount of time with the instructions and trying to make sense of them. I feel for companies making these wall mounts to fit most any tv. I had to add some additional spacers I found lying around my house to get the perfect mount for my TV. I had a rubber grommet kit lying around that did the trick for me, but I would imagine 70% of you should be okay. Consider getting the installation option via amazon if you aren’t particularly handy in this sort of thing. My partner and I spent probably 2-3 hours and they aren’t a particularly strong person, so it was very nerve racking and exasperating. If you fight about ikea furniture building, this is likely not for you. Consider as well you have to reasonably center your wall mount for optimum height and couch view-ability. There’s really a lot of factors involved with wall mounting a television, and it can be terrifying. Measure thrice, mount once. Don’t even get me started on making sure it’s level. No one wants a permanently cock-eyed television As far as how the mount functions once on the wall, it’s like butter! I invested in a 75 inch Samsung and this guy holds it easily. I can move the television with my pinky Left or right. It pulls forward and moves back easily for quick access to ports on the backside. Great mount. Would buy again, but I have no need for another wall mount. Installation is moderately difficult, but a handy person should be okay. I think I was a few beers deep and I still figured it out.
