> 3 dayI bought this for my new TV...i wanted to buy more for every TV! With my setup i have a large 77 OLED which is very thin and large. I like to be able to extend the TV over the entertainment center and turn it towards the kitchen for when cooking and such. This TV mount can articulate simply by touching the edge of the TV, easily allowing me to turn it whenever without worrying about putting force on my TV or needing to reach back behind it to grab the mount to move it. It is not as easy to move in and out, but still the easiest one Ive ever seen or used, and its supporting my 70lb TV. The bracket that mounts the TV holes to the articulating arm of the mount is very well engineered and securely holds them together. The only thing to be certain is that you do tighten down the TV angle adjustment...A LOT! Tighten it, then tighten it some more, then try and turn it another half turn. If you do not tighten it as much as you physically can it can allow the TV to tilt when you are pulling it in or out (or it might just sag when you put it on as i have seen from other reviews). My particular setup has a 70lb TV on it, the way the bracket is configured to load is cantilevered out and there is a high moment (pivot) load on the angle joint, not a bad design, just a difficult thing for a designer to manage while giving us users full angular freedom. So make sure it is very very tight so it cannot slip! The mount is well designed and it can handle the torque, this is not a flimsy sheet metal part that you need to worry about overdoing it.

> 3 dayEasy install and nice selection of parts for different setups. Once concern is that the mount keeps tilting the screen down any time it is moved around. No amount of tightening will stop this but it can be readjusted to the correct angle once its in place.

Greater than one weekFirst, read the instructions. They are EXCELLENT. Well-written English step by step instructions with humor on every page. Second, lay out all the parts. Its all there and its good to count and identify everything before you pick up the wrong screw by accident. Most of the small parts are in individual sealed packets with the size stamped on each packet. Very well-labeled. Concerns: 1. Ive set up TVs before and the first thing I checked out was the stud-mount spacing. Using an electronic stud finder, I marked my studs on the wall, 16 apart as usual. This wall base has a pretty good offering of oblong holes to line up with your studs in various situations. Of course, this mounting system is responsible for SO much weight that it only allows the spacing to vary left or right a certain amount; if the wall base was too far to either side, the system might not support the TV well. And, it wont let you go that far. So, I leveled the template with a small spirit level, taped the template up to the wall, and drilled my four deep holes. The four hefty lag bolts went thru the base plate and into the studs as planned. 2. The step of lifting the TV set (after having installed its rear bracket earlier) can be a nightmare. I brought in a friend as suggested, showed him the hook arrangement, and we did it in one step just like that. Great design and safe support. 3. Finally, the TV pulls out (WAY out) from the wall by just pulling it with both hands-- and it can swivel sideways (WAY sideways), left or right, by just pulling it with both hands. All the while, it feels as solid as can be. These guys took the trouble to engineer and re-engineer the product to make it as foolproof as possible for home installers. Excellent engineering and quality control.

> 3 daya) A nice heavy wall bracket, with a good width to enable lateral positioning adjustments on the wall, Echogear put the weight in the panel on the wall, and dropped the weight, or metal gauge, on the panel which the TV mounts too. Thats good, because it reduces the weight at the end of the arms. b) its a scissors type bracket, which is the best for heavy TVs and ensures that the TV stays level at any position, unlike the double to single arm that swings out to a single arm attached to the TV. Scissors is best. c) I like the tilt adjustment with a lever that allows tool-less adjustments. Nice job. d) They did not include adapters for my curved back Samsung, to fit the flat vertical hanging bars. Thats a minus for me, but Samsung anticipated that deficiency, and included 4 extensions with the TV which compensate, and give a flat back mounting profile. e) Nice length away from the wall. Better than most, and for a big TV it allows the viewer enough rotation to catch the far left or far right of a wide room. I like it. f) Currently one of my favorite TV mounts for bigger televisions. Summary: We have 9 different televisions for office, garage, business locations, and they range from 28 to several 49 Flat screen TVs, that date from the very heavy ones, circa 2007, to several current, and very thin televisions. Weve bought scissors type wall mounts, and ceiling mounts through the years, and I like many mounts, among this generation of manual adjustment mounts. We have some mounts that are heavier steel, than Echogear, and theyre all good ones. This Echogear is growing on me, due to its combination heavier materials against the wall, and lighter materials that move with the TV. I prefer a lighter mass in the parts of the bracket that move, with the newer thinner TVs. The older heavier Vizio TVs with a heavy steel frame are more rigid, and wont be as fragile, and are fine with a same gauge, heavy gauge, wall mount in all parts of the components.. Time will tell about this Echogear mount. There are lots of good TV mounts at this price point, and within $30 plus or minus, and this may be the one for you, but just be advised there are other equally good options, and this is not a one size fits all solution. Yes, I give it a buy it recommendation, especially with your very thin entry, or mid-range (price) flatscreen TV. If you are buying a very high-end TV, youre in a different price point, and looking for motorized, and retractible mounts.
