> 3 dayI needed a good TV mount for a large TV I needed to hang on the wall so I went with this option. Ive never ordered anything made by this company before but after reviewing the instructions I was confident that it would go well. The mount arrived well protected in the packaging and came with plenty of extra spacers and bolts to hit Im sure just about any TV. My Sony TV actually came with the right hardware for mounting so I didnt need to use them, but it was an option and the quality looks great. The installation process was quick and easy using the included template and instructions. I did have one question about which spacers and bolts to use but a quick call to the 800# took care of that. The call was answered after a single ring and routed straight to support. The rep was super knowledgable and it is a HUGE benefit that he spoke perfect English. I cant be certain that he was in the US, but sure sounded like it. Not that it matters a lot, but it is nice to know that a company doesnt skimp on support by outsourcing. Great product, great support. Would buy again.

> 3 dayThis is a very good TV mount. I used it for a 65in LG OLED C1 TV which weights around 75lbs. I had already owned a different full motion mount for my prior TV but given the required placement of the mount on that TV (much lower), I was going to have to move the old one anyway. The specs on that one suggested that it maxed out on a 60inch TV. Im sure it wouldve worked but that other mount was somewhat tough to move when the TV was actually on it so I decided to get a new one. In comes the ECHOGEAR mount... Everything needed for mounting was included. Especially important are the lag bolts for the portion that mounts to the wall. I dont believe I received those with the prior mount so thats an extra cost (and trip) to factor in for other mounts. Also appreciated the template provided. Instructions were clear, well written and entertaining. I really dont know why that is so hard for many companies but they could take a cue from ECHOGEAR on how to write instructions. Overall, installing the mount was not difficult. The hardest part is just making sure you find studs in the wall and are relatively centered on them. And I guess holding the mount while installing the first couple of lag bolts. My installation has the TV located in a cutout over my fireplace -- i.e. a recessed nook. My TV is 57in wide, the cutout is about 59in wide so there isnt a lot of clearance on the sides. After mounting the brackets to the TV, I measured from the bracket hooks on the TV to the top and bottom of the TV to ensure I was placing it at the right height in the cutout. Marked the height in the nook, grabbed the template and marked where my lag bolts would go in. I pre-drilled the holes and then held up the mount while screwing in the lag bolts, making sure it was level along the way. After that, its just a matter of extending the mount, setting the TV brackets on the front top of the mount and securing the bottom. As another reviewer stated, its a good idea to tighten down the tilt mechanism prior to putting on the TV, it can always be adjusted later. Overall, this could probably be done in about 20 minutes but I probably took an hour just to measure multiple times and think thru what I was doing. As I said, I only had about an inch clearance on either side so I was worried that my slightly off-center studs were going to make it very difficult. Based on where the holes in the backplate are and where my studs were located, the mount was an inch closer on one side then the other, so I was still worried about being centered. Turns out, that was all for naught -- while its good to be as centered as possible, there is sufficient lateral movement in the mount to get the TV centered even if the mount isnt. You might be asking, why only 4 stars? Well, I have a couple of small gripes. Some may be fair, some less so: 1. This mount moves easily, even with a 75lb mounted. Much, much better then my last one. I wanted this feature but now that its mounted, Im not as convinced I do. I only need the movement when first mounting it to pull the TV out, connect everything and then push the TV back into the cutout. After that, Id prefer it didnt move again until I replace it. WIth this mount, if you touch the TV, it will move -- no real force needed. Given my minimal clearance on the sides and the fact that my TV is a thin piece of glass, I have minor concerns that Im going to bounce it into the walls when cleaning. Hard to blame the mount for being too fluid but its a thing. 2. The paper template is nice for marking your holes. My minor gripe there is that its hard to hold a piece of paper against a wall, put a level on it and mark the spots for you lag bolts at the same time. Very minor complaint and there may be some trick to this that Im missing but it would be lovely if some clever person came up with a solution to that -- like a thicker edge on the template. 3. Another minor complaint that may be more on LG then ECHOGEAR -- which screw should I use to mount the brackets to the TV? ECHOGEAR provides several different sizes with different lengths and widths. Ideally, you want to use the longest one that will fit in your TV. The problem is, that if you use one that is too long, you break your TV. If you use one too short, your TV may dismount prematurely. This is probably on the TV manufacturer to provide since Im sure it varies. But a note in the instructions would be nice on how best to determine this. I struggled with this longer then I should have. For me, I took a medium length M10 bolt, attempted to thread it slowly and gently into the TV to see if it would fit all the way. It did, so I went with that. Could I have used a longer one? Perhaps, but well never know. 4. The last gripe is cost. My previous mount was about $50. This one was closer to $120. They are both equally heavy duty and built very similarly. This one has much more fluid motion so its worth extra $$. But is it worth over double? Probably not. But given how much I spent on the TV, Im not going to lose sleep over the cost of the mount but I feel like it would be a better value around $80 and that would have warranted a 5th star from me. In summary, I listed gripes but the reality is that there are many more features of this mount that are good and its definitely something I would purchase again or recommend to a friend. However, I would also have them watch to see if they could get it a little cheaper than list price.

Greater than one weekGreat product, high quality, and not manufactured in China. I mounted our bracket on an inner, non-load-bearing wall in which the 2x4s are oddly spaced. However, there were more than enough mounting slots in the bracket to deal with that issue. Phew! However, because of the odd spacing, the bracket base is badly-centered between our closet and bathroom door jambs. We have a 43 inch Samsung with only 45 inches of space to work with. Thankfully, the support arms of the bracket have a wide range of motion. We can move the screen so that the Samsung looks perfectly centered. As for mounting the bracket, take your time! Measure several times to avoid punching unnecessary wholes into the sheetrock. And as the wood screws are long, drill the holes slowly to make sure the screws begin and end in the studs. Use small diameter drill bits to progressively larger diameters before you get to the 7/16 bit included in the box. Since the bracket is solid, it is heavy as well. I was able to mount the bracket entirely by myself, though it took some strength. Im 61 btw. We love this product and highly recommend it. Enjoy!

> 3 dayIve mounted probably a dozen TVs and in brick and drywall (with and without studs) - each with a different mount bracket - and ECHOGEARs is the best quality and easiest to mount Ive ever used. Heres why: - Comes with a mounting template (missing, strangely, from so many other brands) that makes hole positioning a breeze. - Comes with every assortment of mounting bolt under the sun for attaching your television to the mount. - Has tilt adjustment in the bracket (think roll axis of a plane) so, despite my OCD driving me to mount it as level as possible, I can still tweak it once mounted. - Massive range of positioning for swiveling your TV to left or right, and very smooth articulation for repositioning once mounted (which with this one we do regularly). - Large spacing in the mount plate so if youre running wires in the wall it can accommodate even double-sized panels sitting within the open spaces of the mount plate. - Accommodates a crazy range of TV sizes, good for future-proofing! Worth considering: the 42-85 mount is quite heavy at just over 25 lbs. Combine this with its size and it may be tough for some to install solo. In my case, as soon as I had one lag bolt partially in a stud it was like having a second helper (that bolt could support one side while I did the other) but you may want a hand for just the first bolt. That said, the weight is indicative of the build quality. Im pretty sure Ill never buy a different brand mount again. This one is just too good and was so easy to install, especially considering the sub-$100 price. Absolutely great product.

> 3 dayThis mount is amazing! I put it in an opening that could I not hold a 50 inch TV, and due to how it expands out away from wall 22 inches I was able to mount a 65 inch TV o er a 50 inch hole! It is strong and well made! I highly recommend this mount! You wo t be disappointed! It is not lightweight, but keep in mind that it has to be heave to hold a heavy TV!

> 3 dayThis wall mount is perfect for our large (83, 95lb) television. Easy to follow installation directions. Strong, well designed with excellent build quality means the mount easily handles the large TV. The mount can position the television about 6 in left or right from center - when I installed it the studs were not aligned with the center of the alcove and I was worried the TV would be off center but I was *wrong*! The available lateral positioning brought the TV back to near center of the alcove. Now my TV floats in front of the alcove wall! Thanks for a great product Echogear folks!

> 3 dayBefore I bought it I watched a video on Amazon on how to mount it and knew it would be easy. I mounted a 75 in tv with my brothers help (basically he did it lol). I read instructions while he did the majority of things, but anyway it was super easy. You will need a beam finder and level, if you dont have one you might want order one when you order the mount. There is a template included so you can see where you need the beams to be located. My brother had a magnetic level so, after marking the beam, we held the mount up to the wall until it was level and he drilled the screw right in place. We had already put the pieces on the TV so then we picked it up, put it on the mount, and screwed the little slab that holds it tightly in place. It is on there so well. For a moment I was afraid it would be to big, but it is perfect! Will add a photo later. Update: Added photos, also want to say the range of motion is nice. I usually turn it in the evening to avoid the sun and because of where I am sitting and it does that with no problem. It also tilts forward but I have not needed to do that so have not used this function. I was nervous to pull it out think the TV would be to heavy but it holds up just great. Anyway hopes this helps you determine which mount to choose.
