> 3 dayAs for this mount, I love it, as it most certainly does work with the 24” spaced studs in my basement. I have a Samsung 46”, Samsung 65” and an LG 55” installed via this mount and have no complaints but for the lack of mounting hardware noted below. You can have your own materials for spacers and washers but do make sure you have them on hand prior to the task at hand. The first caveat to purchasing and installing any of these wall mounts is that NONE of them come with enough screws and spacers for every make and model of TV. I suppose thats nearly impossible, but youd think they would at least account for the more popular brands of TV. I’ve got two Samsung TV’s and an LG myself, I had to jury rig them all. Some of the screws are too short of course, so that renders them useless for your installation. The screws that are long enough, are simply too long, and in most cases the spacers that accompany these kits NEVER work with your TV, so they too are useless with these longer screws. I’ve yet to use even a pair of the spacers that accompany any of these mounting kits. I’ve used this mounting kit and one other, so I’m no novice in the task. I’ve learned to have my own, make do, spacers and washers on hand in the form of 3/8” X 16 Hex nuts and 3/8” X close fender washers. The 3/8” hex nuts will serve as spacers (even if you have to double them) on your longer screws and the washers will serve as spacers for those damned near perfect screws that won’t quite tighten down and secure your mounts to the TV. The washers will also serve to provide you with a larger contact area against the back of the TV, so you don’t have to worry with the hex nuts cracking the plastic backing due to such small contact areas. I’m not sure why the industry doesn’t standardize these TVs so wall mounting them isn’t such a frustrating task. The only thing that’s standardized is the VESA measurements and that only applies to the spacing for the screw holes (200mm X 200mm, 400mm X 400mm, etc.) , it has nothing to do with assuring you can mount your TVs to these units via factory furnished materials. You will have screws of the correct diameter for your unit, but you probably won’t have screws of the proper length nor spacers that help in rectifying that.

> 3 dayExceeded my expectation. Easy to install on the wall. Easy to mount the TV. Adjusting the tv is very free flowing. The only thing I will add is about tools: Make sure you have an impact driver to get the lag bolts in.

> 3 dayThis is the first wall mount I have ever bought and installed myself and am very impressed - it is simply AWESOME! I bought the additional Concrete kit as I installed this on my brick fireplace and it worked great. Our family room now feels like a mini home theatre :) Highly recommend this product! Worked perfectly with our 65” Sony TV. PROS: + Great range of motion in extension, swivel and tilt + Easy to follow instructions manual (and written by someone with a sense of humor) + Solid, quality construction and materials + Customer service was easy to reach over the phone and helpful + if you buy the additional Concrete kit like I did, I really appreciated that they provide the correct size and type of drill bit. I plugged it into my Hammer Drill and worked like a charm. CONS - Tightening the tilt/swivel angle with the little hex key provided is little challenging but doable. - Its heavy so grab someone to help you put this up on the wall (but the heaviness only gave me comfort that this a quality product so this should really be a PRO).

> 3 dayThis is a very simple to install and well designed mount so all I am going to cover is the tilt mechanism. As others have said, it is junk. If you are going to mount your tv high, then just let it tilt to the max which is about 7-8 degrees I think. Any adjustment between that and full up vertical is going to be minimal and I will explain. After reading about the problems with the tilt, and knowing since I am mounting my tv low (the bottom at table height 20 ) that I didnt want any tilt, before I even mounted the bracket to the wall I tightened the tilt mechanism in the full upright position. I have been blue collar for almost 40 years and have very strong forearms and hands, it wasnt enough. When I hung the tv on the mount it leaned forward. Dang, are you kidding me, I read it was bad but if I couldnt get it tight without a cheater it really needs to be re-designed. The gears in my head started turning to come up with a workable solution as I have had to do in the construction trade many times. I happen to have a small steel rod that fit into the tilt slot, see picture, you will have to find something similar if you want your tv to stay upright. I will add that my tv is a 75 that weighs 75lbs. so this might not be necessary if you are hanging a smaller tv, but I wouldnt count on it. Then I tightened the left side, (has a vice handle type of sliding rod that you cant see in the picture) with a small wrench, inserting the small rod through the closed end of the wrench to use as a cheater bar for more leverage and then be able to tighten more than hand tight. Second, on the right side I tightened with an allen wrench, see picture. Take note as you tighten this side it will want to lean forward as you do so, so having a second set of hands to hold the tv in position while being tightened will help. I used the wrench on the the allen wrench also for more leverage. Now that it is as tight as it will ever be without breaking it beyond use, it did break off one of the little thingys that keep the rod from sliding out of the tightening mechanism, that is why the rod is not in the picture. I then tapped two nickels into the gap between the steel rod I inserted and the back of the tilt mechanism. Thats it, it is now locked in and will never slide out of full upright vertical. If you wanted just a little bit of tilt you could go with just the rod and only one nickle or no nickels, that would give you two positions other than full tilt.

> 3 dayFirst off. The writers for the instructions had a good sense of humor. So thanks for that! On to the review! It really requires 2 people. This mount is pretty heavy, so getting the lag bolts in while holding it up is pretty much impossible on your own. But the template made it easy to locate the holes to line up with the studs. The range of motion is...decent... but thats not really a concern for me. Its mounted how and where I want it to be (and face). If youre looking for a mount that will let you move the TV around so you can see it throughout your house (e.g when your in the kitchen doing dishes) you might want to keep looking. The ONLY reason this is getting four(and a half if I could) instead of five stars: The peice pictured(Its the part that is supposed to lock the tilt) stripped its threads the MOMENT I tried to tighten it. But, having a thread gauge I found that it is a metric 6x1. A trip to Home Depot and 90 cents later it works like a charm. I would like to add I didnt reach out to their customer support but Im sure they would have sent a replacement. But Im just impatient. Overall I am very happy with this purchase. A few tips if you buy this: Go buy an 18mm M6x1 bolt. Get an extra set of hands Set aside about an hour Mount your TV lower on the hanger brackets than you think (so the tilt mechanism is working against less weight): and thus, mount the wall mount a little higher(if youre super picky and need your TV EXACTLY in spot XXX)
