> 3 dayIve been using Elegoos resin for a few months now, and absolutely love it. Ive only tried a few different colors (Black, Grey, Red and Transparent). So far Ive noticed they all print with amazing detail, but the Grey seems to do the best. The odor isnt nearly as bad as some other brands, but you still want to be in a well ventilated room. The price seems to be pretty fair compared to other brands as well. Ive also noticed that Elegoos resin is pretty tough, even when handled roughly during post processing.

> 3 dayI really wanted to like this resin. I’ve been using SirayaTech Fast ABS-like for a while, but it’s become difficult to find in stock, so I tried this more expensive resin. In terms of print quality detail, it’s very nice. Cleanup was not so easy. After a wash in IPA, it was still sticky with residue everywhere. A second wash in clean IPA really didn’t help much more. Support removal was not great, after a hot water soak most supports were still snapping like dry spaghetti. After a final UV cure, a white powder seemed to coat parts of the print. I’m used to doing a quick wash, pop supports off, then final cure with no problem. Wanted to like this resin, but very disappointed with the results.

ELEGOO ABS-like photopolymer resin is a type of polymer that changes its physical properties when introduced to light, and it"s VOC free. In the case of 3D printing, this is a typical liquid plastic resin that hardens when exposed to a light source, such as a laser, a lamp, a projector or light-emitting diodes (LEDs) and most of these light sources irradiate ultraviolet (UV) light, which works perfectly with our photocuring resin. It"s a perfect companion for LCD 3D printers, and the print quality is excellent in terms of the details and performances.
