> 3 dayPrints clean and precisely. After curing it is very sandable and durable. Remove supports with appropriate snips, does not break away cleanly (probably due to abs like strength). Picture is of a shift knob I designed for my BMW X3. The shift knob is push fit. Printed on a photon zero without issues.

02-06-2025The bottle had multiple globs in it and chunks of semi harden resin not worth the 40 bucks it cost.

> 3 dayUpdate: So the replacement bottle I was sent was perfect again. Crystal clear and precise. I stand by my opinion that this stuff is super inconsistent but customer service was kind and helpful through the replacement process and if you want to chance it, you may get beautiful and clear prints at a cheap price. You may also get a bad batch and have to go through customer service. But Im updating my review to reflect the quality of the current bottle and bottles Ive had in the past as well as the bad batches that print yellow and melty at whatever settings. ---------- If you can swing it, Id recommend paying more and buying from a better resin brand. Elegoos resin is incredibly inconsistent quality from batch to batch. One bottle will get you crystal clear, sharp prints... the next youll end up with warped prints the color of a greasy windowpane. All at the same settings youve gotten dozens of perfect prints in the past. Their customer service will eventually send out replacements, but only if youre persistent and willing to jump through hoops of printing at different settings to show it still comes out yellowed and badly cured no matter the settings. Their shipping is also -much- slower than normal (even by non-amazon standards). Its not worth it to play roulette whether youre going to get a usable bottle every time and have to wait two or more weeks for the replacement before you can print again. I adore my Mars, but I just cant justify buying their resin anymore.

> 3 dayFirst off, the gray resin in my opinion is the best at showing details on unpainted models or prints. :) The odor on this resin is extremely tame. I had worked in a paint store for 5 years and had been exposed to all kinds of industrial grade enamels, solvents, etc. This stuff isnt even as stinky as opening up a normal gallon of paint. High points there. I have it in my computer room where I prefer to reside for long hours, and have never been bothered by the odor, especially when the cover is on the printer. No smell. As for quality, Im kind of blown away. I had printed a miniature for D&D, and didnt check the scale of the model. Base was supposed to be about the size of a quarter, but the overall height was less than a quarters diameter. Despite the ridiculous tiny-ness of the model, details are still sharp and the stuff still holds together! He has a sword about as thin as a credit cards thickness and is still standing, even through snipping supports, swirling in the IPA bath, handling with no extreme precaution, etc. The price is extremely fair, in my opinion. You can buy approximately the same amount of material for FDM printing (1 spool) for about the same price, and FDM is known as the cheaper of the 3D printing technologies. 500g turns out to be a little less than half a liter, which has gotten me about a dozen D&D minis, as well as a 6-inch tall statue, with about a third of the bottle still left. Overall highly recommend. I will probably be buying the 1000g size next.

> 3 daySo far no issues with grey. Smells but not as bad as the green Anycubic resin shipped with the printer.

07-06-2025While the prints look good right after printing, the grey resin has clear liquid on the prints, which dries with white edges and spots and looks terrible. This happens whether you rinse the print in IPA or in water. This isnt an issue if you paint it, of course, but you cant display the prints as-is. Im guessing that it might have to do with the grey pigment settling out of the resin during the hours-long printing process, but thats now nearly all resin printers work, so they really need to address it.

> 3 dayI really wanted to like this resin. I’ve been using SirayaTech Fast ABS-like for a while, but it’s become difficult to find in stock, so I tried this more expensive resin. In terms of print quality detail, it’s very nice. Cleanup was not so easy. After a wash in IPA, it was still sticky with residue everywhere. A second wash in clean IPA really didn’t help much more. Support removal was not great, after a hot water soak most supports were still snapping like dry spaghetti. After a final UV cure, a white powder seemed to coat parts of the print. I’m used to doing a quick wash, pop supports off, then final cure with no problem. Wanted to like this resin, but very disappointed with the results.
